Do note that amongst all the rhetoric there doesn't seem to be a few simple words on the lines of "we would have done this" and " we would have had a successful fund raise of so and so million" or "we can do better than the Omani's offer of a free carry" No. In the time up to finally approving the 'Transaction' did we have a serious alternative offered ? None that I recall but I stand correction if wrong. The truth is the drying up of our revenue from KN1 was a huge blow for us all to the point where I was more than just upset, more like depressed. It weakened our position and instead of negotiating from of a reasonable position of strength, we were seriously weakened. Unlike Crusty, I don't blame the BOD at all. At that time, I think the 'Transaction' from Zubair was the best available deal in town, and slowly but agonisingly slowly Crusty has come to realise that the BOD were reasonable people caught out by a gas source of revenue failing. I'm hoping the deal will nevertheless be highly successful and prove I was right, keeping faith.

Fair enough, let's consider the alternative at the time of the 'Transaction. We reject the Zubairs offer. I'm Interested to hear how everyone feels our relatively tiny company would have fared ? For my pennyworth, it would have been a disaster. As it is and as I have constantly argued, a smaller slice of the cake not only secured the backing of the hugely influential Omani's but crucially, simply huge, unbelievable forward funding. Maybe those that favoured rejecting the Transaction offer would explain if they would have raised funding with a placing and if so, how much ? So many forget, the Omani's are heavily involved in Tanzania with projects such as the financing of the future Docks development. The Government have every reason to treat them with utmost respect. I'm horrified to think that others think that little old Aminex could go it alone or that another partner would have the same influence as Zubair backed by the Omani's.

But Buckler, your talking Aminex down ! I simply cannot imagine the Government will have strung the Omani's out for so long just to kick them in the teeth with a bad deal. Think about it (in the morning).

Well Buckler, I'm really bewildered (as I guess others are) as to why you are here at all if you bought in at .07p and you feel AEX is a no hoper. Your negativity appears to be based on guessing the government will offer us a poor deal, or are there other reasons ? Enlighten us poor souls please. Looking back, it seems to me in the evenings your dialogue appears to be more free flowing, almost colourful but certainly full of angst. Why not try turning the coin over and looking at the other side tomorrow ?

Have no doubt at all, Drewky is the main man who (together with Chris Perkins) has truly believed Aminex would succeed. Don't forget it was he who persuaded and cajoled Crusty into dropping the original, utter and stubborn opposition of the 'Transaction'. So many on here couldn't understand or accept AEX is a minnow in comparison with the like of the Omani's. Drewky was the one true one that agreed with the BOD and saw Aminex had to give ground to bring the Omani's on our side. Remember those mad times with Drewky fighting off the likes of Apache and Dunder !?! How right he was and some proof if ever needed, is surely the reason why suddenly we have a flock of new names gathering support for AEX. Still need to get Licence approval of course !

Well well, can't say welcome back LT can I but I don't know about you being NUOG's biggest investor, surely apart from members of the BOD, you were at one time probably the biggest single private investor of Aminex ? All we want now is the return of Tip Top and Irish plus an SP of 24p ish, and we're back where we started......

I guess we can start talking about this now as more and more likely it seems Licence approval is on the cards. Is it fair to say the management team go over to the Zubear's payroll with the BOD staying put with Aminex ? If so, running costs are greatly reduced which will be welcomed by most. All this stuff may well be written into the Transaction agreement but well worth a recap I hope you agree.

The line below in the latest RNS appears to be technically ambiguous. Should it be restated ?

Sounds like Despair Hawkspear . Guess you are not a shareholder so this is your epitaph. This share is not for you but wish you luck on your way. I am sure Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon Mobil and others who are bidding for the LPG contract take a more optimistic view of Tanzania's future than your own.

Good to see the sp rising. Strangely the same can't be said for Wentworth where the contractor for the Kinyerezi project has declared himself bankrupt with the work unfinished. Apparently, this was government financed so let's hope there's enough money left behind to complete the work. Not good news for any of us.

Mike, I'm here because of our acreage and I can't believe Zubear's owners the Omani's would accept this awfully protracted wait to be told by government, no Licence. Once farmout is approved, possibly that cash will avoid a placing.

Do you think Mr Magufuli will say hey, you're Aim no Licence for you ?

John, surely the separate changes of listing RNS needs to be just that separate, but are you saying the BOD knew the extension was formally accepted on the 19th and kept that information hidden from us ? I think we should support the BOD right now and wonder if this a fair criticism.

Does the date matter ? For you doubting Jona's who can't understand that being strung along after all this time, you feel government are likely to refuse granting a Licence to the Omani's ? If you do, best sell up and bunk off.

I'm hoping the sp will be reset on Monday. Aminex plc website states a 16% closing fall yesterday. Are we really being manipulated that much ?
