PekingDuck - notice though C Pete is still sitting as a buy. Am I wrong or are you suggesting that rather than have had capital raises, we should have had even bigger loans ? I'm guessing you would rather AEX had gone down the Wentworth route who still, even though producing and selling gas, carry large debt. You accentuate the negatives but a couple of positives you avoid are we are near, or close to Debt Free yet have built up over the years a portfolio of something you should consider- truly exciting acreage. You can see why the Omanis want to buy in. What influence do you think they may have with the Government ? This keeps me here and I am not therefore a whinger.

If the tweets were right, surely we are a perfect fit for TPDC. Great team, acreage with huge potential - I don't view this as bad news at all.

I'm hoping to repeat here the start of this thread, posing the question yet to be properly answered. Surely the investors taking up the placing are putting their money where their mouths are without surefire guarantee the Licence will be forthcoming ?

Personally I would not have invested in this calll because there is no guarantee yet of the all important Licence. If the various investors take that risk, what's so wrong (or illegal) in them reducing their average ? I sense by demanding an investigation, you are saying the Directors are acting fraudulently yes ?

A message to all those investors who wanted Aminex to go it alone. Thank goodness those doubting Jona's didn't get their way and the far seeing BOD deserve credit for driving through the right option. At least we have a chance of being recognised with the Zubairs, yes, owned by the influential Omanis.

For the Zubairs to make such a huge commitment without first getting some sort of commitment from the Government is unthinkable. Mr Magufli is only doing the right thing for his people. The Hydro energy is cheap, seasonal and not as surefire as gas so maybe it comes down to price bartering. What this all confirms for me is how foolhardy it was for those selected few on this forum who thought we had sold out too cheaply, and that we could go it alone.

I'm attaching below a couple of earlier posts from you detailing the existing discoveries and also those of others in the area which appear to confirm we are sitting on one huge gas reserve. As soon as the Licence approval arrives, my guess is there will be a great deal of calculating/guesswork about what those figures mean to us and wonder if it is possible to fast forward things to do those calculations now and what it could mean to our valuation ? By now everybody will know I'm not an 'oilie' expert but from the figures we have, just what re-valuation could we be facing.- best worst case scenario. Hopefully, a spirit lifting exercise....

So along with the increase of 35 MMscf/d. from Orca this week, WEN have published their results with a December figure of 92.5 MMscf/d close to their top end capacity (without compresion or reducing inlet pressure)

Strange old world Bucks, guess it's like a good soup. You need to start with the right ingredients, in the this case the Geology and Discovered and already Appraised huge gas deposits that has thus far delivered Trillions of cubic feet of gas and 3 quarters of a Trillion Cubic feet of 2C with a retail value at current GSA rates of $2.5 billion and there is likely much more to be seen with the full 8 well development plan.

Maybe it's the $35+$5 million deal currently on the table with the $107 million to bring the HUGE gas field into production?

Licence first of course, the only Major obstacle standing in the way of the Zubairs concluding their (imo) excellent deal for themselves.

That's a difficult question to answer Mat but I imagine going it alone with one failed drill, would have been the end of the AEX story. If CP's guesstimate of $2.5bn plus more is correct, our 'Meagre' share will surely see the sp much further North than we are now. I'm hoping we see Malcy's view of the Zubairs influence producing the Licence sooner rather than later. Bring it on.

Worth reminding everyone that much maligned Drewky forecast of today's outcome, spot on. The sp fallback can surely be blamed on those HTGT souls - Here Today Gone Tomorrow day traders. Let's wait and see if Drewky's guess of the Licence pdq occurs. Bring it on.
