By the way, the words "strong team, fantastic backer, value way way above current price, delivery 2019" are the words of Malcolm Graham Wood (Malcy) and as far as I know we are still in his bucket list and has more faith in our Company than I guess you ever will ! Thanks for explaining things Mat. Maybe the lack of income from KN1 weighed heavy on the BOD's view of things and the farmout whilst a smaller slice of the cake, gave some certainty. They have a considerable responsibility to us after all. When you talk about leaving only the Farmout option, were there many others ? What's your guess on the value of a Placing at that time ? We would have been walking a tightrope thereafter in my view. Maybe it's because I'm an oldun I think the deal is good, but only time will tell of course.

Dear CP, I welcome your post ! Is it possible we could look at the possibility of 'Going it Alone' ? As you know, I am firmly persuaded that to have a backer with clout (I hope you accept the Zubs appear to be qualified for that title) - and by by the way when I say clout, I mean not only their wealth but also their influence. Is it fair to assume you favoured a Placing ? Looking at the programme of exploration ahead, was I wrong to feel that with revenue from KN1 uncertain, such a large fund raise with a 50/50 chance of a dry well was something not worth risking ? Then again at the time of Transaction announcement, did you have another proposal apart from a Placing ? Do let me know if you did and can I also direct that question to all other AEX investors. A great deal of this reminds me so much of Brexit where Terisa May has brought back the most miserable of offers from the EU and should have left that side of things to her two sacked secretaries ! That said, our slippery Jeremy offers nothing as an obvious sensible alternative.

Tarry. Are you are sure about Wen ? You might moan about the fact that Aminex is cash strapped but I recall that Wentworth are in somewhat worse financial health than AEX and if we accept the deal, can you not understand that unlike Wen, we will have no finance concerns at all ? Their price is falling and of course they are under the same Government control that we are, aren't they ? Josik is possibly enviously worrying that he can see what a cash rich powerhouse we could become and trying to persuade waverers such as you to jump ship. Think before you jump.....

In July, the 'Transaction' deal was seriously rubbished by many on this discussion board. Have you noticed slowly but slowly most of those detractors favouring a Placing have/are changing opinion ? Suddenly they woke up to the possibility of our first drill on our own failing and the dire consequences of that for AEX. They failed to recognise the true value of the free carry and the clout the Zubs will bring to the party. The acreage is there and as we know has amazing prospects. Can't remember who it was said with success early on, we may well become subject to a bid but that is a reasonable possibility. By agreeing to the deal, Aminex survives and has exciting times to come. All my views and opinions subject to this & that and as I did in my business days, e&oe of course.

I'm all for a successful Aminex plc.

Hi Specman. Well certainly right now AEX is a strong buy, or do you disagree ? If you do disagree, I'm curious to know what you are doing here (44 posts in 3 weeks) ? I'm not doubting your right to join in the debate, but wonder if you have this forum and the good interests of Aminex at heart.

Virtually all the dissenters at the time the 'Transaction' was announced have seen the light of day and the virtues of the free carry offer. I guess a Placing may well have failed once the risks dawned on them ! Now the pieces of the jigsaw will hopefully fall into place and the exciting point is we shouldn't have long to wait. Bring it on.

I was very very anti a Placing. Imagine if the first drill was a duster !?! I like the idea of fully funded. I'm not going to cause difficulties. I will be voting 'FOR'.

CP - I believe when the transaction was announced, you were very unhappy and still remain so. You feel we sold out to the Zubs far too cheaply - is that right ? So what would you have liked to see happen ? I feel the only other feasible option at that time was a Placing. If I'm right, how much would you have called for ?

When you stop to think about it, if it is true Jay's life is difficult due to Government overbearing control, he cannot openly tell us. Can he ? There is more than a fair chance he is an honourable gentleman and the cause of the delays are as I guess they could be, I hope some of you critics might stop and consider this for a while.

My guess is it is more likely that with the foreign firm Acacia apparently committing fraud, it's not down to the shenanigans of our BOD but more likely the government trying to tighten their grip and make life difficult for another foreign company the likes of Aminex plc.

I think all of us will be interested to see what happens to the sp. My guess, an initial fall then hopefully a climb back. This has all the echoes of the negative reaction to the 'Transaction' announcement and maybe many were expecting clearer news of the KN1 remediation. Surely the good news is AEX and the Omani's are getting it together ? At least the wheels will be starting to turn very shortly. I'm optimistic.
