Am I right, is Wentworth currently the only gas producer for domestic purposes ? They're in the queue awaiting news just like the rest of us so it does appear at least government is showing no favouritism. The exciting bit will be whether producers are able to make a reasonable living.

Good to see some optimistic, relatively new or lately returned faces on board. For so many of my fellow LTH's still well underwater, it feels as though the temperature's rising, not just on the barometer but how many times have we said that before just to see disappointment in the end ! In my case it's always been about our acreage and the firm belief government wouldn't dare lead such a valuable investor as the Omani's into this merry farmout dance without the reward of a Licence.

Wentworth up 7.5% earlier today following a £10k sell followed by various smaller buys.

nWen generate free cash of approx USD 15m Per year. Aex negative
Wen PSA to 2030. Aex still hoping to get one
Wen has all Infrastructure in place

Thanks Ken for reminding frank of this old soul's stab ! In fact, Chris started the same lotto over on Solo and I believe they have a date of end December as well which is really what my 10p was intended for. Don't change it please. On the bright side, I can't imagine government would not give weighty consideration to the fact Zubair are owned by the Omani's and after this very considerable wait, refuse the grant of the Licences, can you ? On the not so bright side, will the governments more thrifty terms as Chris has indicated might be the case, be attractive enough to keep them on board the farmout ?

As probably the oldest LTH and possibly the longest AEX investor I'm putting my money on 10p. At the same time I want to thank Chris P for setting this up and also patting him on the back for taking our great friend Mick2020 over on Wentworth to task for publishing unfounded facts about our company. Chris is going it alone at the moment so why not take a look at Mick's record, over there and here and add any comments you feel warranted ?

Chris - I wonder much of your 10p stab is linked to AEX ? Whatever percentage it is, any chance you can run another one in tandem over there ?

So, how does Robina's buy turn out to be a Sale in your opinion ? Somehow can't imagine this was the one and only Buy on the day although we all guess you would like it to be the case.

Dear Crusty, if we had followed your views and rejected 'The Transaction' we could well have gone to the wall by now. As it is, our minnow of a company Aminex has a chance of not only doing well but also proving your doubts well wrong about the deal itself and the influence of Zubair and the Omani's. It seems fair to assume we may have to wait until September for the outcome.

Chris - is it significant enough to add on to those reports the facts that the first one shown is almost exactly one year old, and 'Offshore Exlporers' is a term used for ALL companies with foreign bank accounts. In our case of course there has been a dramatic case of farming out to the Zubs who are owned by the influential Omani's, a proposal which received so much flak from Crusty at the onset which Drewky to his credit, has persuaded him was the right way forward. Imagine little old Aminex all on it's own waiting and hoping for Licence renewals.....

Hi Mike, This is your first post since you joined in 2017 and I wonder, are you a Shareholder of Aminex ? Naturally, everyone on this forum would like to know how you came by this information about alleged dubious contracts ? Do please enlighten us, thanks. What this means is that the Zubs owned by the Omani's have not bothered to check our company and it's contracts out in the first place. Yes ? As well, over the many years we have been investing heavily in Tanzania, nobody up to now, either TPDC or Government have pointed out any of these alleged contractual misgivings. That is hard to believe. Your revelation must be investigated carefully and thoroughly at once, especially so for the numerous small investors that joined our ranks yesterday. It's now your responsibility to explain where the source of these allegations came from. Thank you.

Yes of course, there is an obvious difference between 'offshore companies' and 'offshare explorers'. Wen has also suffered a 4.4% sp fall today, so uncertainty is everywhere. Then again, did we operate our work in Tanzania under the Ndovu banner ?

...for posting the subltle difference between offshore companies and offshore explorers. I'm fairly sure AEX has kept it's nose clean as has Wen, so so believe 'exploiting loophals to avoid tax' etc is not directed our way.

Am I wrong but were the so called 'Loopholes' specfically generated from the offshore companies ? If correct that rather puts the likes of AEX & WEN in the good boys corner, yes ?

Much the same predicament for Wen, yes ? Someone's got to supply the gas if it's needed...

I'm surprised Base but thanks for the information ! Usually when someone comes over here from Wentworth as you have, any message is accompanied with doubts about Aminex's future, even suggesting insolvency. Well done. I will lift this message and post directly on the Wen board if I am able.
