For those that missed it this was released last week:-
LJUBLJANA - A renewed attempt by the opposition to ban the extraction of natural gas through hydraulic fracturing in Slovenia was voted down by the National Assembly. The proposal is related to the British company Ascent Resources' plans for the Petišovci gas field in the north-east.
Looking good for ascent If they are allowing fracking- Could be an interesting week to come.

Interesting to read that the UK has increased the patrol boats 5 fold leading up to Brexit, Better get a lot more built! Macron will get the message.

I would like to think that if we have a good balance sheet come the 2nd Tranche in August 2021 we can give them the £300,000 in cash rather than shares.

The first tranche was for 784,404 so will not take long if not already completed. IMO

I wander if the responses to the consultation have been ratified? Protestors usually send in thousands of spoof letters to influence perception. Maybe that is why it has taken 8 months (and counting) as can't see it being inter departmental communication slowing it down as this would be very unfair to INFA, I remember someone who spoke to a DAERA rep at one of the consultations who said it would take 4-6 months..........

I don't think the PM stated April there will be thousands of new ship builders, but it would generate thousands of Jobs.
They want a lot of ships building some of which have designs approved so could generate recruitment for companies like INFA before April which will start the ball rolling. AIMHO

LSE03, sounds a flawed interview then as we know Belfast and Appledore are not "TOO BUSY", looks like we will get all the contracts then :-).

stokey12- agreed- My point was that the urgency for action was evident in the review and believe Ben Wallace and other ministers will already be dotting the I's and crossing the T's. IMO

Given Sunak's review yesterday I believe the funding to kickstart the economy is going to start very soon, I personally expect contracts in the next couple of weeks so INFA can start employing in numbers. AIMHO

I am sure INFA being an SME (less than 500 employees) will tap into the funding on offer.

I think we are just moving out of phase 2 (fear/Anger) into the 3rd phase of the change curve (acceptance/Exploration). AIMHO

Strange we are down 6.8% when buys and sells equal...

shinra- if they want to leave an asset worth several hundred million, it would have to be a hefty pay-out IMO
Like I have said previously the state owns 25% so they could buy the other 75% (as we know they have plans for it) but I would think upwards of £150M (including the compensation). We will see, should be an update shortly.
