I am in West Africa at the moment. After their new year celebrations, the returning Chines, of which there are many here, were not seen for three weeks. They have a lot to loose by way of investment here if they caused the virus and were kicked out. Its also averaging 35 degrees. Airport screening (temp and origin) has been reintroduced as per Ebola screening. Gloves, masks, sanitiser, paracetamol all sold out. Schools being targeted re hygiene and hand washing. Lots of funny handshakes ! Doubt if they are prepared for much testing though. 2 cases in Senegal in quarantine, people come from Nigeria

I told you all before the weekend that I had written to them. Yesterday I posted her Email for you all. Today I got a reply. I wish I had not bothered for the sarcasm it has generated.

I have said here a number of times....and been shot down every time.....that Trump puts American business first. They will do all they can to ensure no foreign businesses get anywhere near this contract, even if it means a lack of testing or inconclusive results
