Puzzles me. We have heard the Gran Canaria tourism say October. Have they been talking to Portugal, Egypt, Turkey etc? Looking at FO advice, most of these countries are far behind us or more strict re lockdown etc. I have registered for updates from a few of these places and it’s still grim. I think that we may hit 700 tomorrow then slip back to around 650 on past performance.

Whilst May 1st would tie in with the end of Boris’s second three week lockdown, there is no point starting flying if say Spain, Turkey, Portugal etc are still in lockdown. Turkey for example is requiring all visitors over 65 to quarantine for 14 days on entry.....some holiday! FO website gives all details of restrictions. I am more for the 17th July date

This will go back to around £15. But how quickly will depend not on the UK lifting travel restrictions but the countries Jet2 travel to. Spain may take some time for example.
