If Sidara won’t put in a firm offer until they have seen the accounts…….then rivals will see the accounts before Wood have time to organise a vote. If a better offer comes in in that period, the board will be obliged to inform us. The vote would go against them and we start again.

If the share is suspended….even more time for a rival to bid (if they want to take a flyer on the accounts) There must be enough info out there for them to do so with Delotte report etc.

We could get a better offer before the vote takes place. Cash offer of 85p a share would be nice!

It will have to go to a vote. This cannot be done by 17th therefore extension to end of month. Plenty of time for counter offer. Suspension likely as counter offer vote cannot be organised by end of April…….hold

They could get a further extension for 2 weeks to take them to end of month……suspension date. Not extending to that date in the first instance makes me think that a deal will be done before the 17th. Presumably the auditors have said they need to the 17th, no further.
