correction : 2 deals...not 3

And with a miserly mcap of under £5m at the start of the day this has a long way to go.Plenty of potential upside.
Last time a deal was being touted this went up near 1.5, we'll see if history repeats itself.
Although this time we know that a deal is potentially imminent on one license (Ballieston) and then Creswick is in play in the coming months so multiple deals in the offing this year...so 3 deals possible ...and £5m mcap :-)

So they will be getting the offer on Balieston back this week having told the other party what ECRs requirements for a deal are.
If the potential partner comes back and gives us all that we want then an announcement of a deal should follow pretty quickly.
If everything has not been met then there may be a period of negotiation.
Either way we ware talking days or a couple of weeks rather than the previous months...Red dot watch timescale has reduced and those not in position when it drops will be too late.

Creswick red dot is further away , but I liked Craig's mention of a Big Worldwide Miner who is interested in Creswick so that may be worth the wait.

Hi Boffin, Yes, agree with your points on the processing plant inactivity and the possible outlining of a mid term strategy.
I just hope the reason for the latter is that they are in the last stages of dotting i's and crossing t's on a deal so they know that any mid term will be overtaken....but maybe that's me just being optimistic.
And 'coming months' was a nice non specific timeline (Craig Brown's not really committed himself there with a political fudge statement)

Victoria produces about a third of Australia's gold and Fosterville (our near neighbours) is the third highest gold producing mine in Australia.

In my opinion no news is good news at this point as they are under NDA and cannot release any updates.
If we were getting regular updates it would probably mean that the negotiations have stalled/ broken down.
I think we touched on it last week when we said why would you plan to drill 20 holes now, when you could get a JV shortly and plan to drill 200.
I'm quietly topping up most days as and when funds are available and when I can get sub 0.7 (another cheeky £800ish this morning) and happy to wait for any JV news....one day closer :-)

And when it comes it would be nice to have a bigger company involved (I would like to see us somewhere near Kalamazoo's mcap post deal).

Judging by the red on most of my portfolio today I will take a no change day on ECR.

And if we did enter one of these agreements we have the tax credit so any cash payments received would effectively be tax free.

Great news indeed for survival rates but does not impact the infection rate... so can't see it having a major impact on the markets.
