My theory on the delay is that Adam Jones is reviewing /updating the initial drilling plan since his addition to the board in December.
Better to review and have a good plan rather than ploughing (rather drilling) ahead in the wrong spot.
If he hits a nugget the size of a small car with the first hole then I'll forgive him the delay :-)

PIface, And with funding in to 2022 in place we are under no financial/time pressure to accept a poor deal, two interested parties will mean some competition so there won't be any low balling and Craig Brown has already declined JV offers on Baillieston as he thought they did not value the project correctly.

All puts ECR in a fantastic negotiating position and bodes well for a good Creswick deal (and Craig said in an interview that Newmont were very keen on Creswick).

But a deal is never done until the agreement is signed (if it were the SP would not be at these lowly levels :-)

I think Feb/Mar is more the likely timing of a JV announcement assuming hat the visit happened quickly after travel restrictions were lifter and allowing time for final negotiations , board sign off from our new partner and legal documents to be drawn up.
Drilling could commence any time...should have hired a truck instead of a donkey & cart to transport the rig from Bendigo to Baillieston :-)

Looks like it's the impatient smaller PIs selling up with 1 trade of £5k and all the others being smaller trades under that figure this morning.

If both sells were by the same person (assuming they were not PJ & Mrs PJ) then surely we will get a holding notification as that's 3% plus of the company?

Those 2 x 12m (£850k) trades St 1:30 really whooped the SP today. I wonder how long they gave been working those (yesterday as well?).
Someone wanted to free up some cash.
Signs of the SP stabilising again this afternoon.

The 2 x 12 million share sells at 1:30 dragged this down all morning ...should bounce back nicely now (well done to those who got in @ 3.5ish)

I'd say it is...bit early with my trade.
Never saw it falling to 3.5...don't see what justifies the drop , but the market does what the market does (if it was that easy we would all be millionaires :-)

Don't think we will be this low for long though so not sweating it.

AD, only topping up 10k shares at a time when funds allow so not talking £000's each time.
I'm sure there are many here with larger holdings overall than myself but this is probably the largest holding I have ever had in a single company.

A drop to 3.75 and I can't resist....averaging up again with another small top up (something I rarely/never do).
Need a little drilling update to arrest the slide here (although miners seem to be taking a bruising today all round).

Some of the 'wow' factors on the new ships are unusual.
The new Carnival ship with the roller coaster for example just seems weird.
I mean, it's not going to be relaxing while you are sunbathing by the pool and a rollercoaster comes thundering above you every couple of minutes.
Would drive me a mad!

The contractor for the survey was only approved in September so I would guess more details will be forthcoming shortly.

And jsmith, I don't think this will go below 3.8 (although I have been wrong in the past) as I think that big orders are still being filled and once completed the handbrake will be gently released and this will pop up to 4-4.2 quite quickly.
Hopefully some drilling commencement news will quickly follow. All IMHO

They continue to fill these large orders by dripping the SP down.
Someone is mopping up these shares in big quantities as we have seen from the late reported trades.
Not necessarily a sign of imminent big news, but players with bigger pockets than ourselves making sure they are in position.
We know there drilling and JV updates will come over the coming weeks/ months ...we just need to hop at this point that these will be positive updates (updates & interviews in the last 6 months lead me to believe they will be)

I think the thing that is becoming evident is that the next level in the short term will be determined more by the bigger players who seem to be getting invested in ECR now.
The large late reported trades (£650k last night) are the ones being fulfilled/driving the SP and us mere PIs will be along for the ride in the short term.
Good to see some serious money getting involved.
