And that's why some CEOs use buys as a shoring up tactic....they know a large number of investors are easily swayed by it.

Personally not bothered if the y buy or not....they have millions of shares in options so why would they need to buy more?....and quite happy for all those options to be triggered as we would have 10 bagged from here.

Dan Do you remember when AJ was CEO.

He bought loads of shares and still drove the SP in to thd ground.

Board buys are sometimes a sign of weakness with board members trying to prop up the SP by buying and giving the illusion of confidence (see AJ for reference).

Anyway , Hurricane and Lolworth progress will be the drivers here in the short/medium term.

Funny how there has been absolutely no discussion on the companies prospects (good or bad) at either of our main licenses over the last two weeks when they are the key.

More detail on the plan for Lolworth sampling and maybe initial results on this years sampling

The access for Hurricane drilling has been completed and drilling has commences/the drilling plan

Quick answer to that one Tamer is you can't tell what's below the surface from a soil sample.

You need to drill to determine the width, depth, grades and consistency of golf to determine the resource and commercial viability.

Sampling is an indicator and also a tool to identify the best areas to drill, used along with other data and methods (lidar, etc)

ECR will be shaped moving forward by the commerciality of Hurricane and Lolworth.

AH is sn experienced geologist and CEO and his focus has been known the long term development of thd Queensland assets.

He won't want to ruin his reputation so will be looking to make z success of both.....as far as I can see we have no negative indications/results on either so far...unless someone can point them out

Tamer, Snip and Gino do have some independent thoughts and although I don't agree with some of their views there is generally some substance behind them (not including his post today).

Tamer, You make a good point that the drilling, and prep for, are still going forward at Hurricane with the switch being made from Diamond to RC drilling.

Also the expansion and progression of the sampling programme at Lolworth is still going forward.

The 'scaling back' of activity is likely the switching to the cheaper drilling method at Hurricane and the fact that there will be one drill initially located at Hurricane (assume that the initial plan would have been both drills to be turning),

So activity has not stopped and progress will still be made in Queensland.

I believe the plan is to have initial drilling at Hurricane and hit some widths/grades and this along with the progress of sampling at Lolworth will see an increase in the SP.

At the end of Q3 we will likely see another placement (hopefully1p+) which will then fund us for the next 12 months and pay off Hurricane without too much dilution.

I believe that the company was hoping to boost the SP with some Creswick results, but this id not happen and has caused the slow down in the activity for this year.

I am confident in Hurricane producing so we should see an uplift in the SP, enabling the placing to uplift the activity causing a further uplift in the Sp............

Personally I don't think they need to take a pay cut at this point.

We are fully funded for all activity until the end of the year.

To my knowledge we haven't drilled Queensland in the last 10 years so that comment is irrelevent (not to mention sad and reptative)

My belief is that Hurricane will 'show us the money' and that will trigger a step change in the SP.

This and any progress in Lolworth will cause a significant change in the sentiment for ECR and the 'AS 2p' level will be achievable by the end of the year.

Lolworth has VERY significant potential with two REE ridges and a huge 900km2 license are of which gold has been detected on two thirds of the areas as shedding.

Any sniff that Lolworth initial results start to be firmed up send it in to a whole different league and there will be a tipping point where this becomes apparent.

But what are your thoughts on Hurricane and Lolworth ?

I invest on what I believe the future value of the company could be ...not what it is now.

And the 'last 10 years' comment is irrelevant as over that period we have had many different CEOs and strategies

I'm looking at the current CEO and the current portfolio of assets we have in Lolworth and Hurricane and the results that have so far been obtained from those licenses.

Can you please provide some evidence why investors should not be optimistic in Lolworth given the excellent gold panning results, large area of gold shedding, Niobium, Tantalum and REE finds. Where is the negative at Lolworth?

Hurricane indications are that there are broader width (up to 60m) with decent grades...again can you provide evidence that Hurricane is not a good prospect.

Legal, And that's the best point that's been made .

If you think ECR have a good chance to make a discovery then keep hold of your shares or top up at what you must consider to be a great price.

If you believe that ECR have no future then sell up and leave . Quite frankly if you think that the ECR price will fall further /go bust and you keep hold of your shares (RX) then you are an idiot placing a bet on something that you think will lose. Sell up and invest elsewhere.

Could have balanced it with 'There is a possibility ECR find high grade /high width in initial drilling at Hurricane'

'With either of these shareholders will multi-bag from here many times' ...but no, you went with they will go bust...lol
