"The world needs copper and gold. Lasso needs it. IMF need it. BHP need it. Lots of people there that 'need' it including Franco." but it seems no one ,not yet anyway, needs Solgold , I hope someone will soon. Excellent post as usual ColonelDrake. I find your posts informative and comforting.
I don't understand the RNS. It says "As part of the termination of his existing contract as Executive Chairman the board has agreed in a settlement payment of £35,500."
if he has resigned for personal reason then surely he must pay compensation to the the company not company pay him !!!
What brought a smile on my face was the following point in the article
"Fake users on message boards are always trying to mess with you. These people can be bots or paid trolls employed by hedge funds or banks.
In the case of a buyout, their goal is to get you to sell. They do this in many ways, but the “Sell this, buy that,” technique is quite common."
coloneldrake Good morning does this mean that BHP have other fishes to fry and are not interested in a full bid for Solgold. JV may be bout not full bid. atm it seems that no one else is interested . Should I therefore start praying for a longer life to see the pay off day.
Here is what she said in a BBC interview. Let us hope one of the drugs she mentions is ours.??
" In an interview with the BBC, Dr Susan Hopkins, the strategic response director for Covid-19 at Public Health England, argued that the country would have to live with coronavirus, adding that in the past influenza outbreaks were not normally managed by lockdowns.
The country was now equipped with additional methods to manage the virus, she said, noting that in the coming six to nine months new drugs would be available that could improve treatment for those hospitalised with the virus."
"Dilution just ain't great for equity holders"
How true especially for PIs who cant sit in front of screen 24 hours a day (with ready cash) waiting for that short and not pre unannounced window of Primary Bid. We PIs like me have to be just grateful for crumbs from the masters table.
