The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
"He might as well have just sent a recording of his last presentation and saved the travel mone"
Ah but then he would not have been able to enjoy onboard hospitality. It also passes the time of the day when you can't think of anything better to do.
"Just feels like a equity raise coming. 15p? Hopefully us little PI's can participate."
no chance for little pis. like last time it will be done with a very short notice and close before time. right now sub 18p. - the market obviously called it right compared to all the gung-ho comments on this board.
“Nothing is going cheap these days “
Fortissimo, could not resist adding to your above comment “EXCEPT SOLGOLD” price lingering at 22-23 level 50% PREMIUM gives around 45 pence . Now I am not an expert but for company sitting on world class assets that must be cheap.
SAT2 No mention of Ecuador. My reading of the article is that bhp only interested in producer companies/countries. if that is right then BHP will not make the first move till we are near production.
hope I am wrong otherwise a long wait ahead
Fortisimo, What you say makes sense but I got the impression from reading recent posts on this board that Solgold were looking to sell . If that impression is correct then no harm in upsetting BHP . If BHP and NCMs plan is to swallow Solgold cheaply then why are they waiting for "More time means more 'value' generated" Why not bid now . It is all very confusing and worrying that it may end in tears for comparatively late comers like me whose average cost is below the current price
" SOLG has proven several times over that they really have no problems getting funds it's just pleasing all shareholders is not easy especially when the big two want you on the cheap."
Fortissimo, If Solgold has no problem getting funds why bother about pleasing shareholders. Why not get the funds and if any major shareholder does not like it they can make their own offer on better terms. Isn't put up or shut up the best policy now . Otherwise we could be waiting for ever to do both please all shareholders and raise funds.
redknight1 and quady thanks for that clarification. it is all further confused for me by this mornings RNS . One thing though seems clear to me that Solgold is not going to make me rich not at least in the near future. May be I should sell Solgold and buy BHP Lol World class frustration has gone hand in hand with world class discovery
If BHP bid for NCM then would it not increase their holding in Solgold to a level that would be unhealthy for the the share price of Solgold. Is there anything in stock exchange rules to counter this eg requirement for BHP to reduce holding or bid for Solgold.
