Roofer61,How come dropped 5% with few minutes of opening? Must be the sell orders?
After few days of raise, shorts are piling in this morning.
If we follow your rule of thumb currently almost more than 70% of stocks worldwide trading below 52 weeks low. This is due to lot of external factors affecting the stock markets and almost everyone follows like herds.
The tower can hold maximum of 4 fuel cell each has a capacity of 2.5kw. So max it can hold at any given time is 10kw worth of power. if you use 2-bar heater it will last 5 hours before recharging similar any other rechargeable devices. I don't know how much hydrogen it will need to fully recharge again or the duration of charging. It may be possible to recharge at the same time using like mobile phones.
6kw generator produce 6kw every hour. Only limitation is that you can't use it for devices requiring more than 8kw power per hour.
AFC's web-site does not say how much hydrogen required to fully charge it. All it say that they can supply if you need it from them.
In simple term kwh is like volume and kW is the rate you fill. So if your horse pipe delivers 1cu.m per hour. To fill the take of 10cu.m will take 10 hours.
400kwh is the total energy produced over 6 weeks. These are same units as in your electricity bills.
A 6kw generator produce 6kwh every hour. Ie enough to power old fashioned six one bar heaters. It takes 67 hours to produce 400kwh.
A 6kwh generator at the site posted earlier cost £1080 Inc vat. So it would be difficult to sell 10kwh for mor than £5k.As a shareholder I am extremely disappointed with this company. Now my shares r almost worthless. Hence decided to hang on either until bankruptcy or recovery.
AFC needs to sell thousands of units to make profit o require more powerful units.
I am a retired civil engineer and in my early years I spent time on road construction sites. Normally small static equipment like numeric drill, concrete cuter etc are connected to generators You switch on off as needed. Yes they are very noisy. All earth moving plans and heavy equipment's used diesel fuel.

This diesel generator produces 8kw contiguous over 20hous for 35l of fuel. At £1.80 /l it would cost £157 to produce 400kwh. If you only use that amount over 6 weeks, it doesn't make economic sense.
What is he running cost for the power tower?
MaAdventurous, I don't know how much diesel construction vehicles consume. An average car emits about 125g co2/km according to EU. If you drive 10000 miles per year then you emit 2.2 metric tons. Construction vehicles are very thirsty and also depends on the total number of plants on site.
My average home consumption is 2400kwh electricity + gas central heating, hot water etc. So of these units would struggle to provide electricity for me in winter months as I consume around 400kwh/month during these months and about 250kwh/month in the summer
400 kwh over 6 weeks is not that much. An average 4 bed house with gas central heating would consume Abou that much electricity in winter month. Surely it hasn't replaced 1.8 tonnes of co2. Something wrong in the numbers? Can any of you enlighten me? 400kwh at 25p per unit only about £100.
