Here's a theory, could VH put all his funds into Republic bank, they they purchase Metro.

From a rebranding perspective this would be a simple name change given they look identical, Alamo maybe changing the name would remove some of the negative sentiment associated with Metro

I wish our Metro guardian angel well and look forward to seeing them tomorrow and maybe some bumper post on Xmas Eve to give us all a positive end

I'm amazed Dogger isn't higher, I've noticed the trend that you only post on the bad days and very rarely on an up day.

There have been plenty of the bad ones lately but I'm positive, keep your chins up everybody. This will come back (admittedly I have no real facts to back this up..)

If that's the case, take your money or hold on for the longer term, commenting everyday on this doesn't help anyone including yourself.

Hopefully £5 minimum, off course we are all merely small pieces in a larger much game being played out. I need £3.20 to recoup my overall loses (not just metro), anything over that is profit.

I'm glad I also have VMUK, what a sad performance today after the great start. This is truly manipulated!

If itakes you feel better I dumped some of the VMUK shares I had in an ISA a few weeks back, that's up almost 20% today.

This is when I was going through a few bad days and was trying to trade my way up, learnt a couple of lessons on those days, I'm relaxed about Metro and trading in general longer term now. Only thing this constant trading will do is put me in a grave and make me skint, I'm not cut out for it.

Still held them in my SIPP which is good.

We cam only hope on the shorts.
