Fully agree, looking at this day to day doesn't do our health any good.

Things may be oh hso different in just over a months time with annual results and maybe FCA report, who knows

I just purchased another 100k shares on that drop, long term I still think everything looks good here. If I double my money in time I'm happy. Anything else is a bonus

Your still up on where you were a month or two back.

Sell and reinvest somewhere else if you are concerned about this dropping any further, I personally think there has been some positive developments with this and it's going to improve .

I just went an opened a Metro account as a first step to getting away from Santander, must say online account opening was very smooth.

Lets see how it goes when I get the online banking code in the post, Santander quite frankly has the worst online presence so it cannot be any worse surely.

I've held through this much pain, I'm holding until I either hear something very good or very bad.

Why is this? Usually it doesn't show any gain or lose prior to the market opening .

Apparently it's at 210 showing as -1.5% drop.

That's on an individual basis I guess, personally break even for me is £3.50 so I would walk away with no losses, in an ideal world I would like £5 given asset value etc.

I believe we are through the worst of the bad news, I can't see the FCA slapping a huge fine on them given most of the senior management have fallen on their swords and new hires with audit expertise.

Slow and steady rise hopefully, I don't need the money until late next year anyhow.

Depends on how many shares they own and whether they decide to approve, if VH and co plus allies hold the correct percentage they will need their blessing unless they can get enough elsewhere.

They still have their stock as well as others that are invested, just because you leave it doesn't mean you let your investment go.

Billionaire's typically don't become rich by selling at huge losses, there are also a lot of people that brought in at 500p

Appears to be a lot of new posters appearing over the last 24 hours, hopefully all invested or looking to be invested in Metro and not mischief makers

Welcome to the BB,there are a lot of good people on here that have very good insights on Metro, both good and bad!

Problem with any of these start ups with VC backing is they are always looking for a return on their investment sooner then later, have you also seen the loss of £33million?

Challenge Monzo have is there are also lots of challengers in the online only banking sector.

Personally, I would like to see Metro optmise it's online presence so it can offer the best of both worlds, my local Metro is always busy with people of differing ages which is good news.

I'm positive on Metro having been here through some dark days back in August when it got down to 156p.

I genuinely believe the bad stuff is behind us, just need the FCA announcement, Metro appear to be making a the right moved whether by their own choice of pushed by FCA.
