Also seen our friend Dogger in despair on a health company I was looking at the other day. Appears he's also gone in deep trying to recover his loses, if he is genuine I really hope he stops investing as he appears to be in a very bad way, alternatively I hope he gets his money back and learns .

Fully agreed , I was on that forum prior to the RNS everyone new was come ref the extra funding required, I had a small investment and got the jitters and sold most as it looked to good to be true, left some in though that lost 60% overnight.

I see it that way myself, is that such a bad thing though if they have a plan? Personally, I would like to see them make it as a stand alone.

Me and you too, given they appear to have hired quite a lot of risk related individuals I'm hoping this will mitigate some of the fine, if they can demonstrate a true error as opposed to something malicious or neglect.

I'm looking at this with my Cyber security hat on though so different, typically in my field if you can demonstrate you have taken steps to mitigate the risk or have a clear plan to make sure it doesn't happen again, they tend to be more lenient when there is a breach.

Saying that, if it's willful negligence they will throw the book at you .

I could move my money out of here and invest in others but I've already jumped it around too much to take any more risk, I think this will go back up. It may take time though.

Agreed, if they get the strategy right going forward and the placement of stores in key cities along with deposit boxes and online banking strategy why can't they succeed?

I personally would rather use a bank that gives me a range of options rather then one thus is purely online only. I work with a lot of the fintechs on various cutting edge technologies, some of the things they are doing are amazing though I will admit that.

Agreed, I think there is a good recovery longer term .

I have Metro in my SiPP and ISA, happy to leave in my SIPP for years but would rather see a return sooner then later in my ISA.

That's life though and it will do what it does, would be happy with 3.50 by August but it's down to how the company progresses, I really want to see a success out of Metro as it looks like they are genuinely trying to improve the banking experience for many compared to the top 4.

Just checked , apparently also read some articles saying they will be helping to open the branch. Not sure if that's true or not but will bring some great publicity.

AML is a risky one, I got some of these a while back as they bounced and got lucky escaping up £2.5k.

Not sure if the new SUV is enough to save them, been bankrupt several times and sentiment in the car industry is very bad at present. I do love Aston's though.
