Ibjj....I have imagined that the likely time for it to tank is now, which is why I'm saving my pennies....but why? Let's have a think....is it that we think the S will be chucked out and another government will just say..well, we'll look into that in due course, directly as they say in Cornwall? Does anyone think the S will get back in with a better, more workable majority? The likely thing seems to be a government of the S with the Left. What's Andy's guess.

The Sami and the SDs think in exactly the same way....they deserve each other. ;-)

'Our mine' will take up a tiny bit of space and it will produce a massive amount of wealth for a lot of people for a long time. If this little bit of land is important for producing food why isn't it producing food now? This elecction is getting very interesting.

Always thought the word 'nutrition' meant food for reindeer in our own context...but it seems it means 'slow food', which means food that takes time to grow I suppose, but which food doesn't take time to grow. A typical fast food product is a pizza....but that takes time to grow, wheat, tomatoes, cheese, sausage....so slow food is a typically deceitful word from the Sami...a truer word would be lazy food...food that comes without effort and has come on its own for millions of years, free to those willing to pick it, such as blackberries and bilberries which we always gathered when we were children. If we went back to being hunter gatherers the population would decrease drastically within one or two years. Any volunteers?

Should be about working things out not bickering and fighting. Unfortunately, we can't agree about what is true and that's a fact. What is true? What is just? Why do people think other than me? Why are the others guilty of deceit and political chicanery because they have a different opinion. Just line them all up and take a good look at them, who said what when and why...how nice are they?

Who said on here recently, that the Remainers want to vote again and again until they get the decision they want? Well, let's examine that sentiment.....can 52% of the people force 48% of the people into an irrevocable situation without expecting them to put up a fight? In a normal election situation the losers are resigned to the decision because they can have another vote in 4 years time.. the spirit of democracy is ihat it can be overturned in due course. Magna Carta, cherished as it is did not deliver democracy...Universal Sufferage did that just one hundred years ago.

We both agree then that the whole thing was inept and I believe a second vote would deliver a big majority to Remain; so why not put the question again with some real facts about the economy

Anyway, Ibjj. you staunch believer in democracy, were not the ones who voted to leave...the majority? Only a very small one, I admit, and surely such a decision shouldn't hang on 4% of people, who might be ignorant.

The Social Democrats (S) on 23.9% and the Sweden Democrats (SD) on 22.3%...from the poll on Wikipedia , which is a 30 day average on 3 July. The Left continue to do well but they wouldn't cosy up to the S Party...who would be on their own if they were the majority..imo.
