RE: RNS -CLUES?14 Nov 2024 22:20
nice to see some balanced discussions back on the board - turned into the oregon state hospital for a moment, there.
it's very sad to see 50-60p being floated, and i think the npv values floated are way too low, given the fs. i think anything below 60p would be disappointing, frankly. disregarding personal position (have said many times we need north of 40 to break even, after being here for +/- a decade), fs suggests the value of our assets should be closer to £1bn.
in what £ucking world.would jim accept less than 80p - honestly? i would literally make.more sense (for.him.specifically, to the tune if tens of millions).to subcontract mining the stuff.
i think that's why where we are. he can't be bothered to get into the mining side of it, we're navigating the sale from an absolute position of weakness (so much so that a potential suitor isn't ****d about the mill itself so have given us the burden of flogging that too! well done mc, another few mil well spent) but he has got the stones to just.....wait it out.
i think it's a shocking approach to a sale, but honestly- i think (hope) we'll be pleasantly surprised. i think 60p-£1, still. 200-250m sale price.
sounds wild, but look at bfs. jm deals in facts.
