The economic uncertainty of the project was probably material until MTL took over the project. Ortega is flakey but he also knows what his main source of income is. Darren wasted no time shoving the flag in and moving the artisenal miners along with a bloody good deal and exceptional diplomacy. IMO he really shone, there. There's a very human side to him that appeals to me, in tangent with the fact he's so acutely aware that this company's going to make exceptional bank. If Nica messed with the project at this stage it would be macro-economic suicide because all of the other producers' stability would be called into question.
If trump hits Nica with a tarriff, guess what. We'll sell to China.
I've said all along, the more trump opens his mouth and drives central banks to a globally recognised currency which - right now - is crypto (not for me) and gold, this is a wrap. All of this noise between now and either dupax news (a nice to have) and the first pour at la india (growing more certain by the day) is completely immaterial.
If you're reading this, you're invested in a multi Bn dollar project. The rest is just salad dressing.
