Metatron. I agree, but have a look at the purchases and history of M Partners/Ali John Mirshekari , and Blackrock today...and consider if the know more than any of us could ever know. Also why do the institutions continue to hold?

Dropping out of FTSE 250 could provide a real opportunity, although I think the bid will succeed. I have a feeling that institutional investors may feel bod, intimated cultural and organizational change is a project to big and too risky. I may have misread what has been happening, but I get the impression that there are some fundamental organizational issues.

Institutional shareholding at 61.135% from the information gather to date. Barc also seems to have 5% or so in CFDs/SWAPs etc (Which I have not included), but they reported on Form 8.3. Either JP morgan/Morgan Stan. reporting on form 8.5 have been buying and selling, but seem to have held onto 2m shares (dont hold me responsible for this)

Sorry for triple posting. I tried top get the format corrects but could not do. In summary Black rock increased by 1.13%. Dimensional fund advisors declared 3.08% holding, Gold Sachs reduced by 0.42%

Diven the strong insti shareholding, and sp movement once could conclude that a mutually satisfactory deal is highly probable, and at a significan premium to current price

I am no finance person, but, from reading posts on this board, it seems the field of shorts, hedges, swaps etc is complex and geared to mitigating risk

Shusi, it will those playing leveraged tax free cfds that will be badly burnt...the hedge funds/professional shorters (peeps on these boards argue) will have strategies in place...

The biggest risk as far as i can see is the buyer and seller are unable to come to a mutually satisfactory price. However late friday rns' and todays action intimates at a deal is highly likely
