I reckon our BOD are very measured, and will have considered just about every implication. They have many years of experience and talent. I trust them to know what they are doing (as I certainly don’t). There have surely been many meetings with Newcrest/Newmont over the last few years, I seriously doubt any decisions will be rash. Shaun is a man with a plan. A very very big one!

It’s a possibility, but I disagree, and think GGp will want control of both Havieron and Telfer. I’m sure Shaun has further plans for future processing. We shall soon find out. 😉

My gut feeling is Greatland will not want to be involved with Biswas and will proceed with Wyloo.

I could be wrong but never felt the trust was there.

I think the point is, Freddie, if you understand your investment, its finances and prospects, and have a general hold on the market and economy, and keep up to date with any evolvements and understand their effects, then you will be better poised to know when to buy or sell. We need to understand why, as best we can, the SP is behaving in a certain way, as there are many false signals. Knowledge can give you the confidence to make an informed decision.

I’ve been purchasing on the lows into my fund and share account, ready to transfer to ISA in new tax year. Didn’t want to miss the boat! When this SP will rise is not easily predictable, I know Newmont clarity and reaching the ore body are key, but sentiment could take off at any time. I don’t know exactly when, but am pretty sure it will be magnificent when it does. EG showing promise for the longer term.

Just about everything you could wish for in a Junior explorer/miner is here (bar owning 100%, which brings its own challenges). We have ‘the’ discovery of the decade, if not generation, and are almost down to the ore body in the best jurisdiction …Anybody else feel like this is a pressure cooker, just waiting to ignite the gas?

My take on it; There is no set date for the sunset clause. Once we have the definitive feasibility study, very soon after needs to be a ‘formal’ decision to mine. Should one party not wish to proceed, the other can purchase 100%. Shaun says this is highly unlikely and both parties will proceed. Timeline anticipated 2024. As Bamps says, this will need to be completed when, or before we reach the ore body!
