Ok, I try to ignore, but sometimes need to vent. Loft Monkey. I believe you have an agenda. The article was indeed rumour, based on rumour 5 months old, and is not in any way damning. Based on the musings of a corporate banker and quoting from companies that would never show their cards at this stage. If you are invested in GGP you should know this, and if you are as naive as you seem to be, you shouldn’t be here. Should the opportunity arise, GGP would certainly jump at acquiring Havieron. And have the backing to do so.

I totally agree ShareMarket. The Newmont IR team confirmed to Jerry that Telfer/Havieron was indeed one of the top 5 assets just last week. Compared to a speculator’s comment in May, I tend to believe the IR statement.

This smacks of fear mongering, in a peculiar way, (perhaps to try and keep the SP down for a large purchaser,), as Shaun would love to get his hands on the lot!

Hello Figes, trying to predict the SP and timings is guaranteed to start a bun fight. There will be so many different predictions that I would suggest you hold on tightly to your golden tickets and enjoy the ride. Suffice to say that we anticipate a decent rise within the next 3 to 6 months, continuing through 2424 and onwards. There are still a lot of unknowns, so predicting the SP today can only be guesswork.

Quarterly reports from Havieron but ‘Greatland will continue to report periodically on its own ongoing exploration activities’. We currently await assays from Pearl, Swan, Stingray and Decka, I believe.
