Scallywag

The Scallywag project comprises four wholly-owned granted exploration licences: Scallywag (E45/4701), Pascalle (E45/5316), Rudall (E45/5533) and Black Hills North (E45/6134) located adjacent to and around Havieron. Exploration work is focused on the discovery of intrusion related gold-copper deposits similar to Havieron, Telfer and Winu.

Also the Juri JV with Newmont, Paterson South JV with Rio. It’s all on the GGP website. Go take a look.

You may be right Timber, but my prediction is that GGP will own the lot,IMO it’s why the board were put in place. Time will tell, not too much longer now!

Hi Bellers, I think Newmont have put Telfer and Havieron under one umbrella and Tom Palmer calls them Telfer. This may work to our favour as his shareholders look at the current averages of the two , rather than Havieron alone. I believe GGP are looking at making Telfer a central processing hub for the region.

Seriously Marketshare, if such a scenario were to occur, which is more than doubtful, GGP would purchase the 70% and build a processing plant, this has already been considered and is perfectly feasible. Though it would slow down the production. It’s really not an option as Telfer and Havieron are being sold together. Which puts us ( maybe not you) in an extremely strong position.

Thank you WelshFalcon for making sense. Also Newmont are selling Havieron and Telfer as a package. It would seem GGP are the only company that would be in a position to keep Havieron and not purchase Telfer. Personally I think Greatland will purchase both, and are well on the way to doing so.

Freddie, that’s a crazy statement. Here we are on the brink of great success snd you want to sell it? A new find would certainly boost the SP, as Havieron did, but we all know how long it takes to get from discovery to mine, and it’s usually a lot longer than Hav is taking. Hold tight, enjoy the summer, it should all come together very rapidly soon. Better that Newmont fix the Tailings than now, than we found it later!

As Bamps said earlier, we are poised to hit the copper market at exactly the right time (and gold IMO) as new technologies take years to bring online, so do mines, but ours is ready for first ore next year.

We are all looking forward to the ‘Ownership’ RNS and the DFS/DTM in quick succession. Bring it on 💪

Not sure why we had the sudden rise and now the backtrack, on no news. There will be news and we will rise from there. No one can say where we will be by a certain date but my opinion FWIW, is a lot of news will come in short succession. I’m not brave enough to trade my shares but well done those that are, I don’t want to miss out on the main event, which, as Bamps says, will be accumulative, but I reckon a few rockets will start the celebrations.

Was there not an idea for Telfer to become a Paterson ‘Hub’ for external processing? Would this not also depend on what other deposits we may acquire along the way?

That’s a fact Bamps, with Telfer, most of those De Gray overheads are already priced in, also we are almost at the ore body and much, much closer to production and cash flow.

Our faith has to be in SD and the team to get us the best deal and put the market at ease. This will take time and we need to sit it out and ignore the constant noise from the fudsters. It’s not for the feint hearted. We are in the very fortunate position of having Newmont as a JV partner. We could never have got this far alone or had this opportunity to buy back the farm. So close now, but the road is never a straight line!
