Hi Summit, I seriously doubt there is much ‘time wasting’ going on. There will be a whole lot of work going on that should become apparent with our ‘big’ RNS, which could be this week, next month but hopefully this year! Newmont busy repairing tailings facilities, Greatland busy getting tenements, acquisitions, joint ventures, negotiations, drilling schedules, permissions, listings and heaven knows what else in order for when the ducks all get in an orderly row. 🦆 🦆 🦆

India reducing import duties

Central banks around the globe buying at record levels

Chinese and other eastern citizens loading up a record levels

HNW individuals protecting wealth with gold

war drums being banged ever where (pray they come to their senses

The $2400/oz level is being defended by the Fed, too early to say they have failed. Open interest in the COMEX has outstripped the new longs so the banks are increasing their shorts. My view is any buy below that level is a good bet short term. Long term is almost guaranteed to be higher,much higher. ATB Speedy

The desire from EB with that post seems a very immature desire for recognition. If we are so close to good news then just keep your fingers to yourself and let the professionals release the news when ready. This type of rumour hype can give rise to manipulation and disappointment.

I have every faith in GGP getting this deal done in an accretive fashion. I just prefer to hear it from the horses mouth!

I think Shaun’s words were something like, the decision to mine was made (informally) with the commencement of the box cut. A formal DTM will follow with the DFS, I’m sure.

Sit tight James, I think gold will be a very popular commodity and safe haven through economic struggles and currency deflation. Central banks have not been buying heaps of gold because it looks pretty. Once US catch on, the demand should rise exponentially IMO.

Would it not be Newmont to realease the first RNS on the sale?
