Just to be clear … The undrawn bank facility stands at 220m dollars on a 30% basis. As Shaun said in the recent interview this scales up to 733m dollars on a 100% basis. A decent war chest for acquiring the remaining 70% of Havieron and Telfer. Not necessarily that is the amount Greatland are prepared to pay. The recent Newmont accounts show the carrying value of the combined package as 373m dollars. Just a book value, not necessarily the amount Newmont will accept.

A six month closure to Telfer should not need to delay the progress at Havieron. We are not looking to process ore until 2025. What we need to do is get the depressurisation completed and continue the decline down to the ore body.

The timing could actually work out very well and to our benefit.

Shaun has reiterated in more than one interview that the 3 major banks would be prepared to fund the project, along with Wyloo’s contribution. We will not get details until the deal is agreed and numbers crunched. You must know this, so why ask?

Have to disagree. Nothing has changed except the tailings dam leakage, which Newmont will fix properly. I still think we will purchase the 70% and Telfer . As I said earlier, GGP won’t need the mill for a few months, so time for repair. Makes sense to use the current infrastructure initially, all at the right price, of course. We have the funding, just need the right deal. IMO

Being a glass full kind of person. I can see the positives from this scenario. Newmont have to fix the dam. They are stockpiling ore to be processed at a later date, we are not ready to process Havieron ore yet anyway, I can’t see anyone else wanting to take it on, and Newmont have specified they come as a package, timing could be perfect for GGP, (in my mind the deal is almost done except the tailings dam is a spanner for Newmont). All in all it’s about as perfect a set up as we could ask for.

I find it highly disrespectful that individuals use this chat board to constantly fling insults at each other with no regard for the other readers/contributors. Along with the likes of Avocet, who is clearly not invested here, and the shorting traders, what can sometimes be an interesting place to visit and discuss GGP is turning into a bar room brawl. I suggest you all go down the pub and get it over with. At least take a break so we don’t lose any interesting information amongst your trash.

Banksy, really? I would say the market is waiting for confirmation of ownership. One way or another GGP should do extremely well. I’m sure you saw Proactive latest video with Shaun oozing confidence. I got the vibe we will get the whole package, but only time will tell, and until then the share price will fluctuate. Once we have confirmation, you may see a lot of rockets 🚀

Either I’m not understanding your post or you haven’t grasped Right of Last Refusal.

Considering SD’s confidence and positivity in GGP’s relationship with Newmont, the stellar BOD in place, and the fact that Telfer is worth less than nothing without Havieron, and GGp’s right of last refusal for the 70%, in my opinion, there is only one purchaser with intimate knowledge of the mine that is funded and ready to go.
