The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Climate change nutters and weak politicians control the agenda though, so our resource could stay under the sea bed, not worth a bean if it stays there!
It’s a funny thing about the market cap….people on here saying it’s silly and should be £1+ but if the product stays under the sea bed it’s worthless….in fact owning it is a negative as there are costs to keep the lights on…..the true market cap should be zero
It really is that binary…either someone wants to get this stuff out of the ground or they don’t
Although it looks like yesterdays gains here are being reversed unfortunately
Probably pointless speculating on todays SP as the Russians have messed everything up for the time being
Much as I hate Putin it is hard not to agree with Rookie here. The EU, NATO and the US have led us to this point and it’s no surprise that their stupidity has led to this. That doesn’t excuse the madness of Putin and the rest of his cronies but this has been years in the making by our utterly incompetent, so called leaders

I have no idea of your overall personal circumstances but well done for talking to your GP and please seek help wherever you can. Just talking to people and realising how everyone struggles at different times to navigate this crazy journey called life will help.
It is not easy to figure everything out and I am sure you, like most of us on here, were just trying to make some money for your family or to create a better life. There is nothing wrong with that and it’s all part of living and learning.
Money can be won and lost but we have one life and it is worth living to the fullest extent…that includes mistakes and failures as well as success
I always told my kids: Always listen to people who have had great success or great failure, don’t pay too much attention to those that have never tried anything!
I lost nearly £100k on Monday at an age when I really can’t afford to and probably pushed my retirement back a few years, it really, really hurts but I refuse to let it defeat me.
I hope you’re ok, and everyone else on here who is suffering.
Going it alone has turned out to be a terrible idea and cost us everything but perhaps there never was a choice
I guess we’ll never know, I hate to be cynical but rather fear that we will just get the usual platitudes and eventually a placing or similar to keep the company going for another few years with RM and others on nice salaries whilst we carry the losses
Sadly this is pretty much how AIM works and most companies are just lifestyle set ups or speculative like SNG who suddenly had £85 million to spend and like kids in a candy store they went a bit sugar crazy and now we are paying the price
Cynical, well yes but only based, sadly, on experience
A is for After the event
Lots of people got this wrong including some presumably well researched bods at Polygon who put £60m into this turnip….fortunately for them it isn’t their money which is why the city always wins in the end and PIs usually lose
It would be nice to hear something from RM but I guess he has other things to do like work out how he gets his bonus this year
60k shares
I got it wrong, big time, as most of us did I suppose.
20% of my portfolio which was the real error
Huge lesson and not sure I have the answer yet so going to take a few days to decide what to do long term. Most of the loss is what I “made” over the last couple of years so I can put a spin on it but to lose that much of a portfolio in one go is stupid, really, really stupid
Wow Golf!!!!!
So the fact that I lost nearly £100k today is actually all going to be fine? Well, zipperdy do dah day!…..the bottle of gin I was planning on drinking tonight is now in celebration of the wonderful days to come.
Silly me for thinking today was a feckin catastrophe
Funnily enough HL sent me a letter last week saying my portfolio looked a little unbalanced (SNG was over 20% of my portfolio) so the good news is I have rebalanced this morning without having to do a thing :) FFS
I guess we all had our own choices to make but this is looking like one of my worst ever. I really shouldn’t have taken so much risk on one AIM share but crazily I felt all the evidence pointed to something at least solid
Honestly not sure what to do now
Never going to happen!!!!!! OM can will always be kicked down the road…..politics and climate nutters have won the day
The UK Govt will be mortified, they were hoping for at least an incursion to distract the British people from the cost of living sh#t show we are facing here.
NATO and the West contributed massively to the situation with their arrogance and anti Russian propaganda
More importantly, come on SNG!
AIM really is a graveyard for PIs, so difficult to find consistent performing stocks….but I guess that is the point, we are “investing” in start ups and speculative companies most of which achieve nothing other than providing nice six figure incomes for their Directors, with our money, for years on end.
In the meantime the PIs talk about MM manipulation, hold for gold, top up, top slice, don’t let them have your shares, RNS can land at any moment etc etc etc. The Directors know their big salary WILL land on pay day
It is a mugs game and we are the willing pawns
As much as I want to disagree and join in with the £20-30-40 speculation I think you are probably correct.
COVID hasn’t gone but the world is starting to move on and there simply won’t be the funds or the publicity to fuel a huge rise…our best hope is a big Pharma looking to snap us up for a decent price
Tbh Aim is so corrupt that I am mostly just concerned with P3 actually being ok and not just another situation where we have funded Directors lifestyles for a few years with our money
This is the last time I invest in a foreign company
Goucho
My post may have been a little negative (there is not much to be happy about with RKH is there tbh?!!) but I am not sure it is dumb and certainly not intended as a de-ramp of the share per se....I obviously hope I am 100% wrong and a large payment is coming our way but I am afraid the new world order that we are living in may well prevent it happening.
For full disclosure I own 300k shares at an average of about 22p so I am nearly £40k down but holding, as I have done for years now, as I still hope that we will have a Government at some point who stands up to the climate change lunatics and implements a sensible transition to new energy sources over the course of this century and secures our own Gas and Oil supplies from (effectively) our own resources in the FI and North Sea

They will never rule in RKH favour, the politicians simply won’t allow it
All we know for sure is that RM has said early 2022…..therefore the possibilities are surely limited to;
The data is not as hoped and they are working out what to do with it before releasing
There has been an unforeseen delay in data release but not necessarily implying bad news
RM’ definition of early 2022 is not the same as ours!
At some point he will have to update the market but we are still in early 2022 by most definitions
