This looks like it’s pretty much dead in the water tbh, serious Synairgen vibes. Theoretically good product but totally unable to bring it to market and the challenges for small Pharma versus the big boys make it an almost impossible task (especially in the useless UK business environment)

Oh well, the one silver lining of the SP collapse is it no longer represents a material amount when it finally disappears out of my portfolio. The pain came a while ago.

Funny how some obviously knew about this given the sharp Declan in the SP the last few days

AIM is a giant fraud

This does feel a bit like Synairgen tbh. Lots of positive posters and endless conferences and speculation about how many hundreds of millions or maybe billions we’re worth whilst all the time the SP stagnates or declines and the Management get paid handsomely month after month, year after year.

I mean, it’s not as though this isn’t a very common playbook on AIM

You may be right and that is sensible advice (especially when it comes to high risk investments including small Pharma and Oil and Gas exploration)

However I think we are maybe in a different position. It’s pretty much binary now…FID and get the oil out and we are all going to make a chunk of money or no FID and we don’t. There are less variables left now which is exciting and a little scary at the same time….like most of the best things on life

Well, another snake in the giant game of snakes and ladders that is Rockhopper!

Like many of us I have been here for an eternity (well, since the Premier disaster) and sitting on 320k shares at 20p average so in one sense it is a great investment even if it retraces to 40p and with some dilution.

The problem though is I really could just have stuck my money in Vanguard over the last ten years and I’d be way better off and without the stress of RKH. At this point though I would find it hard to sell as we appear to genuinely be close to FID thanks to Navitas and if that does go ahead (does it really matter that much if it’s Sept or November?) then as long as the fund raise is a one off then the SP should still rise to a level where I will have outperformed Vanguard!! Frankly I was hoping to make £1 net per share and I’d be happy.

It’s a 20:1 stock split as they are resisting on the Aussie exchange. increase is around 5% so not quite as dramatic 😎

I consider SAR as pretty much a write off at this point. Going to stay in on the off chance that it isn’t another AIM scam like Synairgen and 4D but it most probably is exactly the same fantasy which provides a nice living for the senior management all funded by us PI mugs

The single most important thing that I focus on is why have I bought these shares?

The answer for me is because I believe we still need oil and Navitas are the right partner to drive this through to production and realise the value for shareholders

To the naysayers, tell us exactly why you don’t thin Navitas will make Sea Lion happen? Forget OM, the crooked EU and the Italians would never have let us win (and the Italians would never have paid out anyway) I genuinely think we’re better off with the insurance payouts

The best thing to do now is either sell and buy back (might have missed that trade!) or, as I’ll be doing…nothing. Don’t look at your portfolio for a while and keep invested. Navitas are still there, global oil demand continues to grow and Sea Lion will roar soon

You didn’t “tell us” anything mate. The EU is corrupt and self serving, there was almost no chance we would win this and the insurance policy being in place is the victory. Of course there may be a short term fall as fear is always a quicker emotion than greed but over the next year we completely focus on the real story here which is oil production
