The problem Brighty is are we really late stage or are we a failed late stage company? That seems to be the concern now.

This really is turning into just another lifestyle AIM company which exists for the benefit of the management rather than shareholders.
I have 5-6 such “investments” that I am sitting on with big losses and debating if it’s worth leaving them in the bottom draw on the off chance that they pull a rabbit out of the hat.
I will however never invest in another AIM company, the system is completely rigged and the odds of success are probably similar to Las Vegas but less fun!

For what it’s worth I don’t think there is a hope in hell of RM and his Board getting SNG to market, I think the only chance for most of us to recover some of our losses is if they can sell off the IP to a bigger Pharma but honestly with the trial debacle that chance has probably gone….as has our money

I think Amers is probably right…not much to suggest RM and his management team have the necessary expertise, know how or connections to get this to market…I’d much rather they just focussed on finding a (big) Pharma who sees it as useful part of their portfolio and would pay a reasonable price accordingly.

SP heading back down into the 20s again and we are turning back into another AIM lifestyle company which uses shareholder money to fund a nice salary for the management team but delivers virtually nothing else

In a way yes, but yet here we still are….no OM decision, no actual progress on SeaLion and a SP of less than 10p……the reality seems to support my admittedly grumpy view :)

No chance we’ll ever get a penny from the Italians, not gonna happen…small chance we get an award and sell the debt at a large discount to a 3rd party…should provide enough for nose in the trough CEO Sam to maintain his club memberships and pleasant Wiltshire lifestyle

I really don’t think we will ever get any money from OM….too many corrupt politicians in Italy and the rest of Europe pandering to the eco-fascists

Then Italy doesn’t pay so we ask the lawyers and they say no problem, we can sue them for payment…..shouldn’t take more than a year or three

I am afraid Hydraides does have a point though, this is still a complete gamble and a longer term play….but I seriously doubt the climate change fascists will allow this to ever produce oil and the politicians and OM quango will keep their heads down too so not sure how this ever delivers anything material
