I think I still believe in SAR but the more I re-read the RF deal the more nervous I become. They are absolute predators who are able to construct onerous and often extremely dangerous deals for smaller listed companies who need cash and perhaps don’t have other avenues (or maybe think this kind of stocks better!)
Something doesn’t sit right and I am avoiding the temptation to average down as I have seen so many AIM companies destroy shareholders investments with little or no protection…we are the mugs in this game and RF and their like are much higher up the food chain than us!
Argentina is a tinpot, economic basket case and is totally incapable of planning and executing anything sustainable apart from the occasional football tournament victory (which often includes cheating) and a few decent cases of red wine…it’s actually pathetic that the British Government doesn’t call them out for what they are instead of worrying about upsetting what is basically now a (self inflicted) 3rd world country
The company itself could release an rns pointing out the error and subsequent fix…..but of course they won’t as this is most likely intentional SP manipulation and they wont want to rock the boat for their paymasters
It does look a little suspicious that this report comes out and holds the share back just as it was gaining momentum but nothing would shock me in the dodgy world of the stock markets…and especially the Wild West that is AIM
Either way, the PIs lose…we are the squeezed middle class in this game…”taxes” always go up for us and we always pay them
I watched The Office last night…one of the very early ones where David Brent announces there is “good news and bad news”
The bad news being they are merging with Swindon which will mean job losses..the good news is he has been promoted!
This rns is pretty much the same….the bad news is the company has no material business opportunities and our investment is probably toast but the good news is they still have loads of our cash left so Marsden and a few others can continue to pay themselves large salaries for another few years
So as David Brent said “every cloud…….”
This is yet another AIM business where there is serious money to be made........that is, for the CEO and other senior management....it's a giant ponzi scheme where mugs like us put our cash in to fanciful business "opportunities" or moon shot companies like Synairgen which mostly fail but not before the directors have syphoned off most of the cash by way of huge salaries and pension contributions
That's also why they keep the whole thing going as long as possible....if a company owned Synairgen they would shut it down as a failed loss making venture but Marsden and his cronies can still make tens of thousands every month they can drag this out.
It is insanity and yet here we all are
What a shambles of a country the UK is now thanks to our useless politicians
A UK pharma/tech firm has to go 10,000 miles away to make progress because the incompetents that run our fading country can't even be bothered to respond to a request for further information
Hopefully the Aussies will save us and give SAR a chance to succeed and bring benefits to everyone suffering from the medical issues we are trying to help with
I think we have to be very careful when assuming there “must be something happening” because of a job advert….Synairgen raised a lot of money and are happily spending it, not least on Marsden’ huge salary.
If it all goes pear shaped he simply loses his Job but assuming he has been sensible with his personal spending and investments over the years he is presumably in a decent financial position…we on the other hand will likely lose every penny we backed Synairgen with!
AIM mostly benefits the senior management of its companies, very rarely investors
Here we go again!
This share is a complete disaster and the “company” is basically just existing to pay the employees for a while longer until the cash finally runs out for good
What an absolute shambles again with an AIM company. I feel stuck with a few investments including SAR and SYN (and the dreaded 4D) but I really don’t think I will invest again in the giant Ponzi scheme that AIM has become
When you think about it, this is really just another part of the giant Ponzi scheme that Rockhopper has become……Sam gets paid whatever happens and the shareholders lose whatever happens.
There was never a chance in hell that Italy would pay the “fine”, the lawyers knew this and have conveniently already agreed their fees for the 2 year legal fight….this should give them ample time to work out their fees for the next phase when Italy still refuses to pay or when it gets annulled and RKH uses up the cash from another funding round to appeal the appeal.
It is all part of the financial merry go round that keeps these crooks in expensive suits and overpriced restaurants.
Sam will be perfectly chilled about todays news as will his bottle of Montrachet
We are all complete mugs I’m afraid
Great to be back in russia . Rostov on don“

“Pleased with the data we’ve gathered”
“Patience” ?….
Well it won’t be a long wait, SP heading to 10p and a cash raise coming in the spring no doubt to ensure RM gets his 2024 salary
SNG was a gamble and we lost
SYN is yet another AIM ponzi scheme which exists almost entirely for the benefit of its highly paid directors
That's all well and good Manifesto but the company did exactly the same thing in the run up to the failed trial results...hired an entire, experienced team on, no doubt, large salaries as well as partnering with a distribution provider...in the end it was all an expensive waste of time and money.....but the crucial thing to remember is that it isn't RM' money or Professor whatever money it is our money and that of the major investors (Polar) who financed all of this.
RM continues to pick up a significant pay cheque on the back of this almost complete failure...basically he has got the team relegated and is being left in charge to try and get us promoted back to the top division...and his best player (Diego COVID) has left the club on loan and is almost certainly not coming back!
The "season" isn't over but it's not looking good
The Palestinians are right. FFS why do we feel the constant need to do whatever America does?
It’s a shame the market doesn’t seem interested
Spot on Leroy! £50-£75 is crazy talk
I will happily sell my 60k shares for £40 :)
We just have to crack the 25p resistance and then I’m sure it’s plain sailing all the way to £40+ !!!!
Anth
I meant the Argies DID do more than tub thumping, they illegally invaded the FI and as a result over 900 people died….I don’t need to differentiate between Professional British soldiers and the poor conscripted Argentinian kids who were sold a lie by their bigoted leader….of course being a fan of the SNP you are probably more comfortable with bigotry and anti foreigner sentiment as Sturgeon is a master of that…as long as the foreigner is English
