Yes Garethin85.......you have missed something....being civilised towards other investors who have made their own decisions based on their own personal circumstances

What a horrible day for LTH but such is life, I have seen my investments in various stocks go up and down so much in the last year and overall my portfolio is still well up but I am beginning to think I have a little too much exposure to SNG...may have a re-think over the weekend....hindsight is always 20/20 though :)

I'm always torn between going big on a single stock because you really can hit a "home run" or taking a slowly slowly approach...the problem is I have had success and failure with both approaches

Thanks for the advice Marik but I'll hold on to my 60,000 shares thanks as I believe SNG has a chance of some decent upside....just not as crazy as some think or in fairness what could have been if the UK Govt had been more "aggressive" in terms of looking at viable treatments last year.

I didn't say there weren't any shorters on here, of-course there are as well as those happy to push the price down for a lower entry point.....that's of no interest to me as I am intending to stick with my 60k and wait for the end game based on my own research, risk profile and portfolio size. My average price happens to be around 130p so I must have thought it made sense then :) My expectations are no success and it retraces to 50-70p and I'll hopefully get out on the way down or some kind of exit around £3-£5.....far less than it "might" have been but still a reasonable return. However, the risk/reward profile on SNG is not as good as it was some months ago I fear

Manik, I think you are slightly deluded, the SP is not falling today because of shorters it's falling because holders have lost a little faith and are moving their money elsewhere. they may be right and they may be wrong, time will tell

It doesn't matter what I think or what you think the RNS really says or doesn't say....the market overall is the judge and SNG has struggled to convince the market since it's original manic Monday jump. Remember the raise at 175?

I don't believe SNG has a serious Covid play at this point, that opportunity has gone and governments are focussed on vaccines, lockdowns and testing as their weapons of choice. I also don't believe they will stockpile for future pandemics...the only thing governments seem to like stockpiling is weapons, everything else they just react to at the time.

I believe our best chance for a positive exit is an acquisition by a medium or large pharma that has the contacts and resources and sees our product as a nice part of their armoury....value for that? who knows? but maybe £3-£4 per share which would be pretty decent from where we are now and I would happily take that

Genuinely not a de-ramp, I am a holder from manic Monday and typically only add when stocks are rising rather than on dips (too many falling knives out there!)

the only thing tat really matters is the share price and right now its falling heavily

BA/IAG will no doubt float the idea of a move to LGW or other airports as a bargaining chip but won't actually do it...LHR will know that so it's all a bit pointless but normal.

LGW needs a 2nd runway (minimum!) to compete and it will never get it, certainly not in most of our lifetimes

What you're really talking about is the dismantling or slimming down of BA...per my previous post, that is possible but they won't be doing that alone and we certainly won't be worrying about runway capacity or landing charges at that point...there will be very few people flying

Our gloriously incompetent, virtue signalling global "leaders" are certainly doing everything they can to wreck the world' economies and travel is bearing the brunt of that. However, BA leaving LHR is not a serious option, as others have pointed out, the problem with Paris is it isn't in London and who do you think used to fill the majority of BA aircraft (at least the profitable bit)? People like me, living and working in London and my employer paying full price almost every week to fly BA to Europe and further afield for business meetings.

If BA goes bust then LHR goes too (which I agree is always possible if politicians refuse to do what they said they would and "live" with Covid) then it will be a result of a deliberate policy decision and we will have few well paid jobs anyway and a recession the likes of which we have never seen before

I love the fact that the crazy Swedish school girl wants to delay the Glasgow conference so that more of her misguided chums can fly in from around the world....or perhaps she thinks they all have several weeks travel time to spare and rich friends with multi-million pound catamarans :)

It really depends on the circumstances. Funds typically have to operate within their own portfolio balancing rules so it could be entirely due to that...we may never know.

The thing to look for is a trend but even that may not prove anything....they could be wrong in their decision making :)

it's amazing how long these muppets take to do things....imagine if they worked in the commercial world and had to make a profit to survive!

When my CxO asks me how I'm getting on with my latest deal I'll tell him it should be concluded in the coming 2-3 years but can't commit to anything and it could be 4, I'm sure he'll be absolutely fine with that

...and the plane just landed directly back in Vienna ten mins ago so the exec from Slovenia will have to uber the rest of the way...unless it takes off again shortly :)

Perhaps it's Amgen, they have a regional HQ in Vienna + Slovenia offices

or, perhaps we are all on a wild goose chase :)
