Tlw has undergone a major downsizing over the last 4 - 5 years. During that time it has probably lost a significant amount of its expertise, particularly technical expertise. The best people in a company typically take redundancy or leave because they can easily get a better job in a better company elsewhere. With all due respect to existing technical people in Tlw, why would you stay in a company that has been mired in problems both financial and non-financial. Maybe this explains in part, the poor return on the millions spent on drilling. Rahul reduced the number of employees alright, but what caliber of people left the company?
