Some states are reporting no result until next Tuesday as late and lost ballot box's are found? & Team Trump starting sending out legal challenges to certain states - unbelievable this has gone too deep routed and personal? where and when does it end? In the meantime I see Silver on Comex is now up 6.58%, good for us and hopefully as you say Dibs61 we should march on toward £3.00 a share!

Dealers I hear can play all sorts of games of they are short. Sometimes they lower the price to get day traders to sell and that is to buy back in more stock. Otherwise it could have been a big trade went through? The trend is up at the moment it seems Biden is looked upon as a man to bring people together and he might be able to improve relations with other countries? He is also an unknown and the market might look for some safety? So I see the possibility with Silver for demand from industrial use plus some safety built in for a new president?

However even when/if we have an update on results soon I seem to remember Centamin had some unsold gold at the last update well if the Gold price continues its upwards journey even the Stock in trade will be worth more. The hold was movement on a small section of the mine that was bringing out top quality gold and so it as felt production for the year will reduce as they investigate and move production to a lower grade, but they have said the movement was most likely caused by underground water and they have pumps working to see if that helps stabilize, if it does I seem to remember them saying they could continue underneath. After following Australian Gold miners water courses and gold seem to go together so it is one of the hazards to go with the better quality seam I suppose. Once we get to 2,000oz (if we do) I am sure we will be up and running.

In fact I just looked at my Silver "live chart for the LME and I see we are over USD25oz Silver, Gold now also moving up fast which will help Centamin at USD1947oz,".... on the other side of the Pond I see on Comex they have Silver over 5% up and going up for the day - good news all round. As I say Silver up 4% -HOC a strong buy!! We are only just starting to wake up to it only just moving up so still plenty of time for others to come on in.

I see this as well as CEY rising for different reasons but essentially both will now rise quite fast on all the stimuli coming - infact Rishi has/ is just announcing such a thing as we speak. The effect of stimuli is to increase the value of precious metals and we will also rise on the back of this. Once the USA election has finality they will also then want to introduce stimuli and Mrs Pelosi will get the ball rolling you see. I am happier in both HOC and CEY than many other shares as you have said the entry point is low too. A good opportunity. Just have a look at the current Silver price already up 3%!!!

Expect demand for us now to increase with increasing Gold prices.

I still see this as a strong buy at this price. We saw the other day when reports come strong of actually a Biden win most sticks including precious metals moving up on demand. I see if Biden is elected which now looks the most probable we will rise, as whoever wins like the Egyptian govt release will have to introduce stimuli. Also I see the USA more likely with Biden do deals with the Chinese who with Russian are the largest Gold buyers. Not long to wait in fact I am surprised CEY themselves are not using their own cash to buy back some shares but I suppose they are holding that with fingers crossed to be spent on new mining opportunities in Egypt or the Ivory coast or Burkina Faso if the political climate allows them to open up after their exploration project?

Yes sorry for your loss we lost my wifes Mum recently and have been trying to clear and sell her house (surveyors were around yesterday) it terrible when someone close passes but regret it will come to us all one day.

DK- are you looking to buy in at a lower price only I looked up what you said and in fact in the past 52 weeks HOC was at its lowest level of 80p it is now 229.60 and I am sure will soon return to be over £300 a share very soon what with the USA election shenanigans, etc. It has hardly recently plummeted like a stone? In fact from what I remember we had a lockdown where HOC brought forward some essential maintenance work and has already said it will be in a far better position now production is returning to full capacity at the end of the year. Do you feel at the moment the Gold/Silver price falling big time? I don't. In fact whoever gets in will introduce much needed stimulus to the American economy and we will be on an upward run, or if not the Fed in the meantime will have to do more and last time they did we went over £3.00.

Have you seen the timing of the barchild and unfairtraders posts my suspicions are correct they must be living together? Time to save up and buy your first tent.

Hi DarkArches -I do not really know enough about property rentals especially to Supermarkets - but I do see a future in "online shopping" and therefore large storage warehouses as the like of Amazon and Ocado have shown being a different way to shop is most likely the way forward and I feel we will have less and less shops and high streets. We will still have them but they will become more remote and select. I do not feel local councils have helped either. To save High Sts there should be free parking just like there is at the out of town retail parks springing up all over the place. After Brexit we may have some more freedom in the Uk and I would like to see more local farmers markets and farmers actually be able to run their own farms and have their own herds of animals and sell direct to the locals - just like we had before Brexit. One of our closest friends had to either close their diary or lose their 300 year old Friesian Herd when we joined the EU and the family were heart broken. I would like us to become self sufficient with healthier food and milk from a source that we can relate to. I must be old fashioned I suppose. After working in London for so many years I now try and avoid large crowds and shops to be honest. I like a quiet life and try to stick to what I feel happy with.

Razor the only people who do not like your ranting have their own interest at heart which is no doubt to force the price down so they can buy at a lower price entry level. Then they will sell to return later again. i.e. shorts termers.
I bought my last CEY share allocation at over £2 a share - so you keep ramping I have lost at the moment but hope soon we will be back. We just have to wait in my opinion, most of my shares that fall do come back in the end and are cyclical. ATB.

Yoyoma I do conduct research and there was nothing wrong with what I said. I just did not give a percentage. It is shame Marstons could not do a similar deal and that their JV had to be for less than half with them supplying over 61% of staff (which is a message in itself to the market).
I also am invested in the retail sector as well as most other sectors, but felt the M&S price reflected very good value on the back of Ocado success. Tesco results have improved and I also see Morrisons with their Amazon and McColl's tie up improving on local sales too. Lots in that sector to look forward to particularly as we soon have Christmas upon us.

I rest my case - now is not the right time to buy any hospitality share - maybe the third week of lockdown it is.
Not everyone drinks Beer - but everyone needs to eat (Tesco) (Morrisons) (M&S who bought Ocado retail) which is why the home delivery firms and supermarkets went up today. Plus most at home will catch up on some DIY whilst at home will help the likes of Kingfisher (B&Q, Screwfix fame) and then have a Dominoes in the evening with the Kids as the Kitchen is closed. Think about it. Support the NHS- think about it!! what does that stand for (No Hospitality Sector) Be active - play safe - never put all your eggs in one basket.

I know Hoc are primarily a Silver miner and who also now have interests in Gold and rare earths. Maybe I have had too many beers. (Adnams in my case at the moment).

Grumpus he followed me here from the Marston's board and has shown his buying in price I suppose. However if he feels CEY will fall to 96p he may have had too many pints? Whereas he might be right concerning the Marstons falls at the moment I do not feel the same principles should be applied to a God miner - in fact the opposite is true in this climate - so he must have a great sense of humour. which we can all do with at the moment I suppose.
