I got another RNS message this morning from Capita that Schroders are stake building - good sign they appear to be here for the long run as we now move back into profit and I see a shed load more income from the nhs once the appointments start coming back for the routine ops. after the vaccine has been dispenses. Great opportunity here! Must be strong buy!

Certainly interesting chaps where 160m shares exchange hands on a 90 trading day avge of 12.90m . However I will need the recovery to be x 8 times to have a return. However perhaps they have found a Covid vaccine well who knows? We will know more shortly I am sure. GLA.

Now in profit great for growth funds. As I said earlier look at who the main shareholders are they want you to sell and you work it out. see below the current Capita shareholders they see this as a strong buy hence the rise in price.

Just remember chaps there are time delays and not all of the buys are shown on the London stock market. Institutions will delay their purchases if it suits to to do so, and I was also always told the shorters if they were trading of buying back in as long can delay their trades until half an hours after trading ends. So don't always rely on looking at the LSE trades because it is not reliable at any given time. I am not sure of the foreign trades are shown in London in anycase. The fact the rise is happening shows to me the institutions are coming in here and if you look at the main share holders they will be pension and Insurance Companies looking for growth stocks. Even better opportunity today -just topped up with some more. i.e. The last business statement this month from Stobart said whereas obviously the pax numbers are less the difference has been made up to some degree by increase in freight. I see this continuing as we go into the formal Brexit and Stobart are well positioned for both the London distribution with Southend airport and with the North for Carlisle airport. Imagine how busy they will be when the passenger nos return as well as the freight.

Motorbikez - Remember that Directors are precluded from buying when they are due to announce results or update as they will fall foul of LSE rules and could be construed as insider dealing. I remember when working for my Broking house in London we could not buy when results were being released or a market update was forthcoming. The fact they are not buying is actually at the moment a good sign not a negative one in that it shows something is coming within 30days! Fingers crossed it is more positive. Siko to many long timers on here has reported the possibility of new licenses and opportunities in Egypt and he is the man in the street so to speak that can speak Arabic I believe.

Fundamentals here very good. Solid company making good profits and still paying divis, with over 300m in the bank and rising. The costs for the mine and the extra work will reduce with sterling rising something that people forget. Past sales help in Usd - but home costs are actually reduced when sterling rises.Centamin on their last statement said they had held back some Gold sales and so if they were conducted in the last qtr they are up for increased profits based on USD1900oz against what the Gold price was in June being 1600oz. New licences for expansion coming - happy days.

I remember one press officer asking the govt whether Capita could fail and the reply was they are not in the same position as many other service providers and anyway the govt. would not allow it. With a GBP60M 3rd qtr profit that idea is long gone and the share price today responded. Afterall how would the govt. then be able to run Teachers and Civil service and Police pensions, they even run the old Lloyd's of London scheme, plus NHS outpatients, London congestion and many other services such as NHS and Army staff recruitment. The two final contracts very apt at the moment. I also hear they are being considered for many post brexit roles too in an overseeing role/ possibly with Ports and Fisheries - a lot more to look forward to.

I am not interested in Endeavour mining Cowichan there were many reasons that they failed to buy Centamin before. For Burkina Faso this is a Country that I have read has had some very difficult political issues to deal with and if Barrick sold there was a reason for this as they are not mugs. Centamin has no debt and have over USD300m or more now in the bank, they are in a very good financial position paying off all debt some time ago. They are ready to expand into Egypt further and I expect the Egyptian govt will give them something else to go on apart from their massive mine. However I have always said on this board if there is one Company buying them up then it is likely to be Barrick. Is that your point in that they now have raised more cash to do so? If that is it you are right unless we get something from the Senior management soon we are ripe for the taking unfortunately. Putting that to one side I see them being given help to sort out the earth movement especially if it was down to underground water. A miner such as Centamin can deal with that issue I am sure but we have not learn't if they have consequential loss or business interruption insurance and if they have (they are likely to) then from my experience of working at Lloyds - Insurers will help pay to get the problem sorted and fixed asap. I actually quite look forward to the next update which Siko like me expects very soon. Why would anyone sell? I have been here for sometime bought at a far higher price but have been adding recently not selling - I am well and truly in here now for a lot of profit. I do not care if for a day or three we fall, as I cannot see this share doing anything else but a meteoric rise. I heard sometime ago the govt were considering a free port at Carlisle airport and for the south what a great airport Southend is. Stobart airports have very large areas for storage after Brexit too. This business will not only benefit from the vaccine solution but also post brexit. A great opportunity.

In my area Capita run the NHS appts system and will do well out of the vaccine dispense.
I also seem to remember that Capita are responsible for Army recruitment and who is helping with the Covid tests and vaccine roll out? In the right place at the right team it seems! Their pension management must be looking towards increased funds too with the way the market values have returned on equities. One mate of mine who used to work at Capita spoke I am sure of the shares being at one time £6 a share - we could be travelling for some time yet up the FTSE ratings.

Looks like you have the same opinion as me our luck could well change here for the better very soon. Sometimes in life it is better to stick with what we know and if we get the new licenses Centamin have and will be giving what they always have done to the Egyptian govt. a good return.

Don't like the negative talk though that I am hearing from one or two long termers here. Absolutely no chance of a rights issue here now, the whole point of the merger with carlsberg was to provide a much needed life boat - as long as a vaccine comes along soon the tide has turned. Just hope the boat does not have a whole in it..

I will say now a strong buy at this price - I have made a fortune in the last few days on the recovery stocks such as the Banks and Stobart and Capita but I will not sell my CEY - I need a balance for when the sudden rise turns (it will one day it always does). Then there will be a reversal. However in June Gold was 1600oz and the price of Gold is still up 28% for the year. It has fallen where no doubt fund managers have come out of their ETF's but they will be back. Also the American economy is behind Europe and the Far Eastern recovery they desperately need stimuli -it will come and we will rise. As Sotolo has said we will also rise as soon as we get better production or output results. I am sure the Directors have seen the falling price and know they have to report something positive very soon - so I am sticking and will be topping up if we fall much lower with Gold miners they are very volatile and so to invest and wait is always my motto and it works!! Gold and Silver will gain as industrial production picks back up as both commodities are used particularly in the electronic industry. Both are two of the very best conducting sources known to man - erh that is why Gold hunters can find it with metal detectors. As demand picks up so will demand for a lower grade usage in industrials.
The other thing I have noticed is when markets fear investing in shares they seek the safety of precious metal ETF's and after a while for extra demand there can be so much demand the shortages of Gold and Silver lead to the commodities increase. likewise when the fund managers who have been hold precious metal ETFs feel the share prices have fallen and there is a reason to buy equities the Etfs are sold and so does the value of Gold/Silver. Fund Managers are very canny and after yesterdays rise they may well fall back to their ETF's and sit and wait again leaving the day traders exposed. Lets see what happens over the next couple of days and by the end of the week we will probably be back where we started after the day traders realise actually we will still have no vaccine for some time yet. BBC news said the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine is for instance only half way through trials. I would still bet the Astra/Zenica version is still out before the Pfizer one. Still lots of bumps in the road to go in my opinion.

I see CEY making up for lost ground in June the Gold price was 1600oz today heading towards 2000oz - The lower grade might not be too much of an issue if more of a lesser grade is mined on raised prices. We await a more ambitious upgraded report from Centamin very soon too.

Gold/Silver moving up to a higher level now. Not surprised by all of the legal activity and question marks raised over the US Elections. It looks like some of the states are going to be very close and a re-count may take place so the end result is not here yet which is fueling naturally the precious metals market price. We are rising as a result. We also still await a positive report from CEY and we will be back over £2 a share again.

Hi Chaps - thanks for the comments of support -this is certainly the place to be at the moment with all the USA Shenanigans taking place. Mr Trump may be proved right after all when you study the way the voting has gone? I can see they will have one or two re-counting taking place and perhaps the whole system needs to be looked at. This is fuel the precious metals market.

Some states are reporting they will not finish counting until at least next Tuesday - what with new ballot box's being found and Legal actions being taken against some states and not others this cannot help the USD but could help us for the end of this week. I have seen Comex futures is up for Gold and no doubt the far eastern markets might buy in the precious metals on the back of the goings on. Unbelievable.
