Frank and Stock I had a look at the latest Tanzanian business news and could not find anything further detrimental to Acacia, however I did see that there is a Tomato shortage and so the prices are rising fast -Can you comment please as I need cheering up.

Franky I did have my own feeling that you could have been a shorter and hence my title of the comment above. It is interesting that BB felt the same too.
I could write on every share I hold negative comments at some time or another, but to be honest I find in time they all do seem to come around in the end. This ship will turn, but we also need the tide to turn and negative comments do create a storm or at least the wind in the wrong direction. Suggest change tack, or let your rope out a little to let more wind into the sails and this will speed up the ship. Keep smiling don't get too stressed be Roy Hodgson rather than Mourinho. Results will change for the better sooner or later.

I feel this share has far greater positives than negatives at the current stage. The negatives are already included in the price, but no panic here as the Acacia are generating cash. i.e. profit accruing.
I have already said Aca or ABX will likely have Insurance for Contract works, Plant, and Political Risk, they will also have EL/PL,Products and other covers to enable the protection of its operations. Oil producers encounter risk too with Govts who either change or Insurers find a way through. As I say keep positive if you wish to stay the course -your call.

Franky lets be honest here any shares is at risk in a market place. As I said the other day when you buy any share it is risk on, and when you sell risk off. Anyone can simply google and find whatever news they themselves are looking for. I feel BB- Has answered your questions as he/she sees the likelihood of an offer being made at a far higher price than the current price. I do agree with this too, and the Footse will lose another Gold miner - which to me is very sad. I currently only see this Company survive a takeover if its Management can issue us with a surprise such as a break through or a break out Company perhaps into one of the other Countries where it has exploration rights/licenses, otherwise it is very soon to be gobbled up by the majority shareholders (Barrick) and as BB said there is nothing we can do about this (apart from try and influence the price upwards. Barrick themselves do not now see advantages for leaving the Company to act on its own independently, as possession was lost when Acacia asked ABX to take up their battles with the G.O.T.
The only people with negative comments at the moment are those people wanting to buy in at a lower price. Are you in that position as your negative views appear to be slanted to the downside?
I try to balance the bad news in Tanzania with the good news the Company has to offer in the future. The fact so many other people are interested in Acacia again shows that they feel this at this price is a good investment. You do not need to google Tanzania for this, and this positive sentiment is the reason the share price rising over 60% from its lows. Also this is the reason why Barrick are telling Randgold to quieten down with their comments with the share price rising fast. (See ABX recent release). What we need therefore is more positive news and comment to boost the price and make ABX pay more. If you are a current shareholder you will want this too.

I just do not understand people that sell 11 or 12 shares on their own they must be desperate for a round of beers or something? Or they feel they will force the price down? All very strange when you consider the ratio for shares to costs of sale?.

Acacia Management have a duty to their staff, and to their stakeholders (including Shareholders, Insurers and other legal entities and must comply with FTSE rules, whilst they remain a FTSE Company.
I ask myself why are Barrick and Randgold timing their releases now (before the framework deal we are told is agreed but not finally signed off) rather than after the deal is finalised. I will tell you why because last time it was announced the deal was signed off the share price rose in a day 40%. They are not stupid people they know the true value of Acacia and they also know it they can get it now, they will get it on the cheap. I found in Business everyone thinks of their own pockets, we need to protect our own by resisting the take over at these low prices until we have the share price in line with what the value of the Company is worth including all goodwill. I would like to hear from Acacia soon too. Don't give up yet BB your comments and thoughts have been invaluable, and correct in most cases, especially where I have made one or two mistakes. We all have off days!. .

First we need to show that we or the staff are not dishonest. We can prove this by taking the composites in question to be smelted to determine the content of Gold. Once done a deal can be sorted.
Also disclose the hidden assets of all reserves (including those in Tanzania).
Find another partner to buy the Barrick 25% to take them below 50%. and keep Acacia on the FTSE.
Barrick and Randgold want this on the cheap. They have a framework and need to pay $300m to conclude. They are trying to get this share on the cheap and for their own efforts. Are they being honest? Time will tell.

One thing the Uk institutions did not like was the fact with Randgold will be taken out of the FTSE and another Gold Miner is lost. I can see the same happening for Acacia.
However there will be nothing anyone can do about it (unless another Company can be formed on the new exploration projects). Acacia Management will also lose their jobs and so it will be in their interests if they want to keep them if they want to keep the Company to sort the mess out now, or start mining somewhere else or find another alternative partner. I always look at alternatives for any given situation. There is always more than one way of looking at situations. I see value longer term in the exploration, and so do Barrick.

BB- What I am saying is we should have a PREMIUM for the additional rights. Without knowing more I cannot say what is the total amount of the reserves they have found but it could be significant.

I look at this as a long term investment by the way. and if others felt the same we will get a premium.

Everyone misses the fact in addition to three Gold mines, we have reserves at the port (already mined and stock in trade) we also have good will, and we have propriety rights to the mining exploration projects in the other African Countries where we have licenses in place. All this adds up to a very tidy sum for future activities, reserves and future prospects.
I still see we could have a second Company coming out of all of this in one of the other African Countries and a twist, or at least a greater buy requirement. I just hope we can start mining there and I have said as such to Acacia too.

BB I liked your bill board on Randgold on our behalf.
Looking back on the ABX releases I can see they offered Randgold a 6.1280 share offer with no premium. The share price of ABX at last close on 21/9/18 was approx. £7.99 which works out to be approx. £48.96 a share (which works out to be almost what Morning Star were showing for the Randgold price on the same last close). Interestingly both the ABX and RRS share have risen in the market a lot since then. However I feel for Aca we would need a premium on the basis of the fact that both ABX and RRS have talked up the prospect of a Tanz deal and the Aca shares will be worth a lot more post deal -lets see. I have not seen the ACA management playing their options cards either? .

Amazing how all the ducks appear to be getting in a row for us now.

Every day appears to show positive news for us which just keeps coming!!

I am sure the fund Managers and institutions will finally wake up here soon and we will be getting notifications of their share holder interests in Acacia.

Why not sell Barrick and Rangold whose price has risen in the last month, and further come in here and take a premium at being given the shares back again with some interest!!!
Still who am I to look a things differently.
Surprised more on this forum do not now rate as a strong buy, which is what I consider this share to be.
As you say Frank we still have a long way to go on price and see no reason to sell or even consider it.

Wise. I feel this rocket will take off soon but it needs to come back for me into orbit as I bought this share in a different atmosphere at a far higher price. However as I have learn't you always need to undertake your own thought process depending on your circumstances and the amount of risk you are prepared to undertake. Even Bloomberg refer to those in a buying market as the shares are on risk and for a selling market off risk. As you will already know from Firework night it is always good to have other types of rockets in your box, should one rocket have a damp fuse.
I have various rockets in my Firework box. The Fireworks I hold change depending on a lot of things, Politics, Oil prices, demand, currencies, employment rates, interest rates, sentiment, business and company results and updates. Also the feeling for what the man in the street is buying into. It is never one share or one thing (with me). I try not to ever sell at a loss, and am patient and prepared to wait -sometimes longer than I would have liked. Patience is the key and I have learn't not to panic whatever anyone else says. Like in life everyone has an agenda. Good luck whatever your call for me this is just an enjoyable hobby my life does not depend on this. . .

Certainly it seems the World is now becoming aware - what with the press coverage and all. Let us all hope we have a quick solution for the Company and the staff who are always caught up in the dispute.

I am sure a break through will come very soon now, as it does seem as if Mr Bristow has a presence and with the experience/ weight/ influence to help finally sort this out for everyone's benefit.

The Company is now producing profits and cash and yet we are just off the bottom. I see lots of upside to go here. New Barrick will find this share price rising fast as soon as they show an interest in a total buy out. They will also have the cash to buy a smelter too and take all of the composites at the port and find out exactly how much Gold is held within it. We will then all then find out once and for all whether the govt. or Acacia are correct. -Looking forward to it- simples as our little Meerkat friends say. .
Either way we win. i.e. The argument is concluded, Insurers will have to pay for loss, whether dishonest staff or political loss. I also see nothing wrong with arbitration for loss of earnings if proven that Acacia were being honest and their business was interrupted for political purposes. They will not get Acacia on the cheap as we all by now knows its worth. Acacia Management have a duty to all of their shareholders and ftse rules.

Pat, the market closed as usual too early at 4.30 but the trades appeared to still be coming in, where'as appears soem profit taking at the end of the day (as yesterday). It looks as if the last price registered after close was over £1.60 so we should gain a littler bit tomorrow morning. (as yesterday).

BB -on the short tracker when I looked a few days ago MW were the only company showing and even they had started to reduce their holding. They were probably right to do so as the share price as we know has risen from about about 0.98p to 1.60'ish (60% increase) and a significant loss now for any shorter who bought on the lows.
I see as we enter December to rise above £2.00 a share to be honest. I also cannot believe we will not hear anything from the Acacia board who may actually do something for their pride and future Cv requirements.
