An odd post for someone with a decent holding unless you are expecting failure...There is always risk in this game but if you believe in the discovery here, then the price today is a bargain..You pay your money and take your chances..For me this is the best odds I've seen for years ;so 21p is a good price.

Silv,You make the point very well..We have a troubled history ,baggage that Cnic dosnt carry.Im very pleased with operational activity,H1,looks exceptional ,R&D activity such as blocking RNS..will continue to add to the bottom line in H2.An official H1 RNS with projections for H2 will be most welcome by the market..

Given the history of this company ..its starting to be concerning that on 2nd July we still have no spud date for a July spud.

The spud date RNS is needed now before fear of delays start to creep in..

DB ,most agree ,a conservative and modest man,has spoken of 3/4p potential..so to call 2p fantasy? It's all down to what we actually have and if anything like the figures we are hearing .50 would be a joke..I'm in the 2p camp on proof of asset ...but I believe this will run ahead of itself to 1p in the short term.

True,a ridiculous over reaction to an almost pointless 5% of the asset,however,Alba need to produce a solid result from one of the major assets and show a path to operational profitability.Its also about time we had news from Ireland...
