My best wishes to you Norrab1.You have been a credit to this BB over many years..
My view is that they are worth their salaries and that those salaries are in keeping with our industry standard.I get the frustration re SP and feel it myself, however I also get the substantial problems Toby Hall has had to overcome in order for this company to make future returns to shareholders. The legacy issue has been a huge drag on our balance sheet and is now resolved, worth $1m pa until expiry of the contract to us.
The fact remains that they must perform in order to benefit from these options..it isn't free money in that sense.
12p is a figure plucked out of the air by someone and has no basis in reality..I believe it will be a good deal higher..I plan for 15/16p and have added to my holdings to reflect a lower aquisition end price,a price that is only possible because of the restructuring of the past three years.
I feel that we will have to agree to disagree on this one..with my friend Norrab 1 also .I respect both your long contributions here..I suppose we cant agree all the time.
No need for that return JAL..You have said more or less the same as I have in your last post.Ie..Salary in line with other CEOs,the fact that we both dont like the SP.,I compared to CNIC,we also both dont like the lower strike price.I am perhaps more comfortable with the awards because they have to meet certain targets and if they dont they get nothing..not a problem to me
Yes, you said it first Bakky. They wont have any trouble finding work, that's for sure
Seems I've opened a can of worms in asking who he is..I've no problem with an armed robber..The banks have been robbing us for years lol..He seems to provide good quality information..that's all that counts..atb all.
For sure they are well renumerated but not more than executives in similar positions.I have never liked the strike price being lowered but I think this has a lot to do with what valuations in the market reducing from the bubble days. Where I am critical of management , the lack of SP progress.CNIC have been far more focused on their valuation and are worth double MMX on little more financials. We cant simply rely on operational progress and hope the SP will come good. For what it's worth,I feel that this is a reward in advance of being acquired..Ive seen this before ..but in that case, its a result for all .
I'm.not in agreement with the Pi55 take accusation. What should be understood is that these options are conditional on performance ,previous awards having lapsed because the strike target was not reached. As such directors fortunes are aligned with shareholders ,which is what we want to see.Scotty, they are not using their own cash to buy shares..
I agree Rykan. Its true to day that there are more deletes than ,perhaps expected ,but there is an ongoing sales surge to compensate. Before this seasons deletes kicked in ,we stood at 850k for VIP.Tjings are still in a state of flux but I can clearly see the number of VIP sales will exceed 850k when everything settles, the amount it exceeds is of course our growth. All in all ,although revenue is the most important factor ,having critical mass is also important to any acquirer of MMX.Im happy with operational progress...
Unfortunately sentiment is at an all time low and attention to address our valuation cant come soon enough.
