The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
VIP is putting on some good numbers and out gunning the deletes.Elsewhere we look to be making good money on individual sales..Good to see that the key operational performance is at odds with the dire sentiment.
I think much will depend on how the potential aquirer views the quality of the data. This remains for me the key question in assessing what a potential bidder might offer.I suspect a lower credibility being attached to that data than you ,and for that reason I am not optimistic on achieving the £1 figure that you hope for..thanks for your reasoning on the subject.atb
Thanks Soundingoff..I will take a look at it.
Goza172..pathetic ,hanging on typos to make your bird brain comments...You clearly are as dumb as a rock.£1 because it's my opinion lol.A five year olds mode of reasoning...init
The spread just got wider..no gain at all today.
I would suggest that the simple world view is your own ..When you operate in a country like Mongolia...Regardless of the usual paperwork...( that would be ok in England)You need to look at WHO CAN stop you...You have to go the extra mile...Anyway, pointless going on ..let's hope Buck can resolve it
"Cover a position he did not know existed"Come on...its his job to identify all who have power to stop the operation. Its not that hard, there can only be a cecertain number. He simply overlooked something that was not signposted to him.Taproot is right.
I hope we have the brains to keep HH.that will be several millions income if it comes good.We need a result on the Greenland and Irland progects.no way can we fund all that we have.
We need to demonstrate that we have left behind all the legacy issues and are on track to pay dividends.Confirmation of the London agreement and a solid set of half year figures will provide investors with the confidence to buy and suitors the confidence to act.MMX has a long history of slip ups and unexpected negative news, its not getting a break..I agree that the buyback is flat and achieving nothing,in fact its further depressing sentiment. One poster said ,we are a good company with the price of a failing one..that's true and needs to be addressed .I'm not happy at all to see us still unable to hold 6p,not only for our pockets but also I fear the low ball.
I've no doubt we will come good..I've added to my holding to average down on the basis of solid operational success.atb
MMX offers a compelling investment to a suitor and at this price, we are vulnerable to a low bid that could possibly be accepted by tired IIs.Its imperative that the share price reflects the commercial success of the company ,with or without this buyback.
Good morning Silverblade.I believe that it was impossible for management to offer a dividend while at the same time dealing with legacy issues..I'm disappointed to see how the buyback is being conducted,it appears to be causing greater frustration among investors ,the exact opposite of what was intended..I sincerely hope to see some activity soon.atb
Did you ask Mike Buck why he didnt obtain authority to drill from a body that has the power to halt operations.I did.No reply as yet,I wont complain about that..rather he spent his time resolving the situation, at 12k a day.
Alba need to sell something if they cant farm in a partner..That would also establish some value...worth for the other assets.
The problem here is that we are asset rich and cash poor.HH could soon return valuable income..none of the other assets will without considerable investment.Im disappointed that we still have no idea how we intend to progress Greenlsnd ,Ireland etc.Clearly,we are going to develop the Gold play but even with investment revenue is some way off...We need greater clarity...
Interesting to see how greater use of data is identifying new demand in some old non performing dogs...surf .casa and now we see an unusual increase in Vodka.
MMX has been all about managing frustration in the past year but the business is now performing,we need to be free of side issues and gain some good momentum and sentiment.Seeing the buyback in sustained action would help at this point..that's what it was meant to do...so be nice to see fincapp get on with it.
