We now know that Ruyi did not complete in business hours as you might have expected they would ,as honourable people ,given their previous failure to do so..I think we can only expect the worst from them at this point..

There is no chance of them getting g a deposit back..the last thing I am worried about is that..They are in breach of contract and can FO if they fail to complete.

Having said that ,the SP is holding up much better than I expected.

Every hour without an RNS makes a negative outcome more likely..Rereading the last RNS is quite sobering,a clear sense of broken faith from which it's not so easy to come back from..Living more in hope than expectation now.

That's exactly the problem...it should never be that there is a doubt in a situation like this..

Today is completion day.Funds arriving would need to be RNSd on arrival...ie today.

This has nothing to do with the Chinese government.This 100% Ruyi wanting to make changes on the day of completion..

I agree with Adam h90,now a gamble rather than the investment that it should have been...whatever the outcome the behaviour of the Chinese has been disgraceful and was bound to leave a bad taste in the Bagr mouth.I hope rather than expect a deal to go through...A total buyout or the original deal but at the acceptable price..ie 3.5p or min 7p for the lot..

That's very interesting Jez..however ..you dont say how you arrive at £1 or more LE price..it does seem that you have plucked a nice round figure out of the air ti me ,that has a much validity as another round figure ,namely 50 p..I would dearly like you to be correct but I doubt you are..lets see..I think most would take less than your £1 and run..For sure ,what happens next will determine JPs credibility..Mr deal maker needs to hit the ball out of the park and deliver more than talk ..

This has to improve in the coming days as the market wakes up..Its not a great advert for O&G investing..when the risks are great and the rewards for a major find are so meagre.

The selling is huge...we need to clear the profit takers and then we will see a faster move up..

The gains today in no way reflect the magnitude of this find for any of the partners.65m column of condensate or oil..Its huge..the SP is a tick up not the rerate it should be...but let's see of the market wakes up..

Yes indeed,.work although a great “sprat to catch the Mackrel”is somewhat masking the impressive performance of the portfolio.I would not be expecting a significant boost from the lost auctions..
