I’m aware of the multi bag potential here for long term holders and I’m already invested. What my question above relates to is shorter term price action.

There’s been two big price re-ratings here since the rights issue. I’m interested in opinions on what upcoming events in the calendar might drive the next one.

What are the likely upcoming events that could potentially drive upwards or downwards price action here? i.e. government announcements, trading updates etc.

My current understanding is that the 17th May is the "earliest possible date for foreign travel". Are there any announcements due before then that will provide further clarity on this.

Looking at the chart, we appear to be stuck in a holding pattern trading range again. We've seen it several times before... a big news driven price rise, followed by a period of up and down price oscillations within a range. The big mistake, as committed by me previously, can be to trade in and out and miss the big rise.

It’s amazing how many people mistake the closing auction for a big buy after hours. Good positive summary of the recent SAGA journey nonetheless though. There does seem to be some upwards price pressure building at the moment.

What does this mean for the share price in the short term?

500p. Breakout to new pricing level and trading range.

Cheers, beach. This could fly tomorrow if staycation and seacation cruises get a mention.

If you’ve already green lighted them off the record, which appears to be the case, why wouldn’t you announce it? Good news is a highly valuable commodity in this political climate.

What are we expecting tomorrow, beach? UK staycation / seacation and foreign travel traffic light system announcement?

That is a superb broker upgrade.

Now that it is clear the company is on a firm financial footing and we are on the brink of a return to the high seas, I suspect many will pile in.

This is the best travel recovery play in the business due to the big clunking fist of the insurance arm. As has been mentioned here before, the cruise and travel businesses are jewels in the insurance crown.

The motley fool is an utter fool and his website full of contradictory articles. However, on this occasion, I think the fool has called it right.

First big test for the RDH aka Mr Haan Man regime tomorrow. I’m expecting cash neutrality, outlook positivity and a strategy for a bright future. Also praying that our esteemed local accountant Mr Banbury does not have to walk the plank due to any further insurance write downs (joke).

Let’s put it this way. I wouldn’t want to risk being out given the price has just retraced 30%.

I made the mistake of being out last time Boris made an announcement. He didn’t even mention foreign travel last time and the price went from 290 to 420. I’m not making that mistake again. If it doesn’t immediately bounce, who cares anyway, I’m still holding a long term winning ticket as far as I’m concerned.

Johnson to set out plans to allow Britons to resume holidays abroad

US, Dubai and Israel likely to be among those placed on a green list

UK prime minister Boris Johnson will on Monday set out plans to allow Britons to resume foreign holidays, with high-vaccination destinations such as the US, Dubai and Israel likely to be among the first placed on a “green list”.

People briefed on Johnson’s plan said vaccination rates — more than infection levels — would be a key factor in determining the relative safety of holiday destinations, which will be rated on a “traffic light system”.

I missed out on the last SAGA bounce and I also missed out on the CARD bounce because I was worried about a RI. Determined not to miss the boat again with SAGA! Happy Easter.

The problem at the moment is I’m meant to be cutting down on the ale. But every time I read the daily booking figures I end up cracking open a few beers to celebrate.

Well said Banbury. Superb booking numbers coming through at the moment. I expect there could be a big run on bookings over the easter weekend.

I can’t see there being a big ISA sell off personally. I think we’ve already bottomed out. You never know though.

I’m going to be moving £20K from my trading account to my ISA. I’m not doing it tomorrow though, I’m going to do it next time the share price spikes and it looks like there is a retrace on the cards. With the amount I’ve got invested, a few grand here and there doesn’t make too much difference to me.

I’m with Hargreaves Lansdown and I think you can transfer money between HL accounts fast. However, you have to wait for the sell transaction to settle, which can take a number of days.

Great to hear the bookings coming through thick and fast. Should make for a very nice outlook statement in the results next week.

Quick question. Are these UK staycation cruises going to be taking place on the two new state of the art ships? I saw something about an inaugural cruise, but it seemed to be taking place after some of the staycation cruises had already sailed.
