Interesting Rock, I've got it. But on my own charts (Pro Realtime; I think they use data from IT finance) the Stochs and RSI are not overbought. In fact RSI is below 50.

Funny old world, I'm not really using them on WG, but there could be circumstances where such differences might lead to altered decision making. Nothing's easy in this world

SG it would seem that Carrot deliberately lied in order to get some kind of reaction from PI's on the board. It's worth knowing. If you're not into doing that sort of thing, it's difficult to imagine that others are doing it. The reason I tried to follow up with him was to make exactly that point. There are some very dodgy characters saying (deliberately sometimes) some very dodgy things on bb's.

It's the simplest of questions and it avoids the 'buys and sells' that so many follow. There is not any substantial accumulation going on at the moment and each time the price gets to level that's of interest to whoever is controlling the movements at the moment, it's sold into. It's being traded on ever reducing volume. Maybe that falling volume is telling us something. Maybe the volume is falling as we get closer to our deadline for an offer. Maybe the traders/algos, I don't know what don't feel there's as much mileage in it as we close on the date?

Rock8, on what metric is it overbought on the daily chart? None that I use.

The daily chart does support the idea posted by others that volume has been trending lower since Feb 14th massacre. But the rate of fall in volume has been pretty low since Feb 4th, seems to be reaching a kind of daily stable level to me. Not really sure how we can use that to help us at the moment though.

SanjaiN you posted on a different thread that 1.1 billion dollars was 540GBP and invited others to correct you. If you assume that dollar pound exch rate is 0.77 then 1.1 b dollars is closer to 847 million pounds. Not sure where you got your exchange rate from.

I agree with that. Previous buys didn't show much confidence in HBR, Linda has been less timid.

Denzil that's exactly my point. I won't lie, it's the post that caught my attention, but it made no sense, I haven't heard anything directly and I've been concerned about Carrot for a while. I just wanted clarity on why he was posting. For me, that's important.

I have to say Prof Tom, that without evidence, and I'd like to think as a SH I'd have had some, it's not obvious that Carrot is playing a straight bat.

Agreed, it's been a tough 2-3 wks for me, one thing after another. I've had to rationalise some stuff to add to other stuff. Always hard to book losses on trades you like, in order to improve your potential profits on trades you like even better. I've added to HBR but closed other positions less central to me. Now it's fingers crossed time I can get back to b/e and cut back a bit on HBR. I'm not that worried to be honest. I can even jiggle things about a bit to free up cash to add more. Could do with a resolution to WG and ENQ moving in my favour and I'm all good!!

SD, looks like HBR are getting the message. Relief rally? I could do with some relief. Being attacked on all fronts (almost) and that often co-incides with smart money distributing to PIs. Some big, hard to explain falls recently and you should really start thinking outside of 'company specific' when that happens.

Does that not get a bit tricky if people check RNS's every morning and are looking for ENQ when there was no ENQ RNS?

I'm getting myself confused again. We have a market cap of 227m and 850 m pounds (exch rate .77 vs 1.1 billion dollars) of tax credits (and 350m or so outstanding debt?

Does that mean our mcap of 226.7 m pounds includes 600m of tax credits?

How are ENQs tax credits accounted for in any deal between the two parties. Does that not contribute to a premium to todays SP?

Took me a moment to understand, but it does sound as though we're both MAMILs. Not pretty in my case. My catwalk days are over, but I'm trying to keep going on the bike.

Looks like April 4th is our expiry date for the moment so we'll just have to wait to see how it pans out.

BTF, I love the idea of 12p being a distant memory forever, but I can't help myself going back to PMO/HBR/WD. It's been up and down, but the current SP is around the low that PMO traded (Mar 2020) if you take out the 20:1 consolidation. We all thought that 9p (old money) would be a distant memory forever over there too.

I'm getting so pessimistic as I get older and fatter.
