Bunsen, there is masses of information out there. The best advice I can give is go on the company website and start reading up. Look through the RNS's and the clues are there.

Basically self policing then Jimzi. The licensing model only works if our patents are not breached, or if they are, a challenge is made. I guessed that would be the case, but had hoped for more, but that would be very labour intensive. Yep, I can live with that. Onwards and upwards.

I asked the question on the board over the weekend about how vigorously our patents and intellectual property was being protected/policed. I know we carry insurance for intellectual property theft but does anybody have any insight as to how it is policed in Asia.

If you are going to post a statement like that you need to be able to back it up. State why you think it will stay at that level - you may be wrong but it will give you more credibility than the bland statement you made. Sorry to be blunt.

I am aware we carry insurance against Intellectual Property theft - but it only becomes relevant if we know about the theft.

Critical to our success as we move to the licensing phase of the business is maintaining the integrity of our intellectual property and policing our patents. How robust is the protection of patents in our target markets, can we be easily compromised in this area and if so, what would the financial implications be for instigating any legal action? XSG has stated that they are not aware of any threat to their intellectual property, but what is this based on. This comes back to my original question of how it is being monitored or policed and by whom. I am very confident in my investment here but would welcome any feedback on the questions raised.

This was a good board on Friday and the share price held on to Thursday's gains which was great. Liam's offer to give charting advice is there if you want it. Some people expressed caution, and I do get that, but I took it as a genuine offer and will try to learn something. It will only be one tool in my investing armory and as with everything in this game, it will be strongly backed by my own research. There are heroes and villains out there, and as a newbie, a few years ago dealing in the mining and oil stocks, I met a few. Masoud Alikalani anybody?? I seem to have something in common with a few on this board as I got in to XSG on the dip yesterday. These two look good investments but DYOR.

Ah yes, MA and his family - great fun trying to get the money back from him. Only good thing he did was donate an ambulance to the people of Kabwe. Felt so sorry for the people of Kabwe who could have had employment and a cleaner environment. Not sure anything will happen there. Still have the suspended shares.

My partner at the time worked for Persimmon and she had a share buy scheme so I had a considerable interest in them. I made money on Rockhopper in their early days,Berkeley Mineral Resources, again in their early years, but then got stung with the BMR scandal. Focused more on mining and oil shares back in the day and didn't spread my portfolio risk. My focus now is more diverse - older and, hopefully, wiser.

The re-negotiation of the term loan gave TRX a lift a couple of weeks ago, the share price rose but re-traced on little information or news. The fundamentals of this share are good Bunsen and if the capacity issues can be resolved to meet, what appears to be, a considerable demand, this could be a very good investment. A re-trace tomorrow doesn't worry me, and I can't day trade to save my life so I am here for the medium term. I have a 4p target and confident, that on good news, can be achieved. I think this can still be day traded so there will be a few false dawns and scares but trust the fundamentals. Good that this board has some good 'gatekeepers' - Bongo had similar reservations about my credibility yesterday. I have no hidden agenda just to help this share where I can and learn from the more knowledgeable holders.

I have a watchlist of about 8 shares Bunsen and this was the one I thought would move first. It caught me a bit on the hop this morning as my account with ii only went live this morning. Reading on the company web site, old RNS's, bulletin board gossip (within the chatter are a few good pointers) and some old trusted friends, all good sources of information. Not necessarily the golden egg but the share I was most comfortable with at this moment in time. I have researched SXX more than any other share but I don't think I am ready to invest there yet.

My first buy after a 6 year hiatus from investing, was in TRX this morning. My timing was perfect but I can't take credit for that. I did a lot of research for weeks before and am indebted to some members of this board that gave good insight and direction. Today's board was very positive, as you would expect with a positive share price movement, but there was a blip when a de-ramper made an appearance and some swarmed over him and highlighted his pathetic attempt more than was necessary. Please stay positive and focus on the job in hand and use the filter button if necessary. Please excuse the somewhat patronizing, and a touch, condescending tone of my email but there are some great posters on this board and I would rather read them than the name calling or baiting of an obvious de-ramper. Good luck tomorrow - could be exciting.

No problem Bonga. Used to play football and cricket in Tad, and could smell the brewery wherever you were. Bitter man also, prefer John Smith's to Sams. Was at the Scarborough Cricket Festival last year watching Worcestershire thrash Yorkshire (I follow Worcestershire at cricket, Newcastle football) - love Scarborough. Anyway falling in to my own trap, this is Facebook stuff. Intend to be here a while so hopefully have a few more positive chats.
