I feel, as a shareholder, I am collateral damage in whatever game Colin King is playing. I am not a needy shareholder that requires a running commentary but I expect some meaningful engagement from the company. Meaningful is not token tweets, vague promises or a second hand script from Big Jock. Show a bit of leadership Colin, show your shareholders a bit of respect and stop hiding behind the 'non disclosure' facade. We are fighting a covid war and we have deployed nothing more than Ken Dodd's tickling stick. Let's get the big guns out and make sure we are all aware of what is going on. Over to you CK.

Colin King has allowed ODX to be a spectator in the battle against Covid. I have gone through every emotion from frustration to anger, but I am now just confused as to how it was allowed to get to this position. Other tests are being shouted down but at least they are out there making a difference. It's one thing keeping your powder dry Colin but this really is bordering on the ridiculous. Lets see some leadership!!

That is because ODX do not take shareholder engagement seriously. A flippant tweet about Tesla should never have been released. Social media is here to stay and companies need to manage their output and monitor shareholder comments. I am not saying jump to every negative tweet about the company but have a structured and thought out media strategy. If sub-contracting this out, then at least make the sub-contractor accountable.

Poor shareholder engagement by ODX allows opportunities for the trolls. Modern companies need to pay more attention to social media platforms as means of engagement without compromising regulatory news. It is something that as investors we should demand, and companies should not be fearful of and embrace it. It is a sign of the times.

This is, and has been for a long time, a largely well balanced discussion group thanks to some excellent posters who are generous with their time and knowledge. This is not the case with other share sites on LSE and breakaway groups have formed on Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook etc. I stumbled across a Facebook site for DeepVerge that I dutifully signed up for. Are there any other groups worth looking at regarding DVRG that would enhance what is discussed on this site.

Until companies are properly monitored and held to account for their actions they will continue to breach regulations. The monitoring and enforcement agencies need resourcing and sharper teeth!
