At what stage in negotiations would it need to be announced trillsg - at the onset? I know this is all speculation but just interested.

With the tech' we have and a considerable footprint already in China, what is to stop China Resources buying DeepVerge?

An excellent presentation and reflects a good team ethos throughout the company.
Gerard was very canny about not disclosing too much about the China Resources deal. I suspect that it is going to be bigger than first envisaged and consequently a lot more dotting of i's and crossing of t's to be done. The due diligence involved must be astronomical. Very happy Investor here!

A nice update from the RNS today and will no doubt be fleshed out by Gerry this afternoon.
So many highlights but I suspect the market has/will pick up on the China Resources delay. My anxiety is not regarding the delay, more what the actual outcome will be.
It has been alluded to that this could become a ‘stand- alone business’, and floated on the Hong Kong stock exchange. I have mentioned in the past how Open Orphan are spinning off non -core parts of their business and creating stand -alone companies. Open Orphan made a distribution in specie of the entire issued share capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary to Poolbeg Pharma Limited in return for the issue of new shares by Poolbeg to shareholders of Open Orphan.
In simplistic terms, DeepVerge could establish a new company with China Resources for which we would receive shares in said company.
Purely speculation on my part but a very interesting scenario.

On 6 May 2021, the Bacanora Independent Directors and Ganfeng International Trading (Shanghai) Limited ("Ganfeng") announced that Bacanora and Ganfeng had entered into an agreement regarding the terms of a possible cash offer by Ganfeng for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Bacanora, other than that which Ganfeng already owns, at a price of 67.5 pence per Bacanora Share (the "Possible Offer").
On 28 June 2021, Bacanora and Ganfeng announced that the resolution for Ganfeng shareholders to consider and approve the Possible Offer was passed at Ganfeng's EGM.
Bacanora has been informed by Ganfeng that it has received the necessary approvals and notices from various authorities in China in order to satisfy the Outbound Direct Investment Pre-Condition. The Possible Offer remains subject to certain other pre-conditions as set out in the announcement of the Possible Offer on 6 May 2021, including in particular the Due Diligence Pre-Condition. The satisfaction or waiver of the Due Diligence Pre-Condition is at the sole discretion of the Ganfeng Board.
There can be no certainty that a firm offer will be made even if the pre-conditions referred to above are satisfied or waived.
This announcement is being released with the consent of Ganfeng.
Defined terms in this announcement have the same meaning as set out in the Possible Offer announcement of 6 May 2021, unless otherwise indicated.

Agreements To Trial Domestic XFiltra
Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG, 'the Group', 'Xeros'), the developer and licensor of platform technologies which transform the sustainability and economics of clothing and fabrics during their lifetime, has signed agreements with two domestic washing machine manufacturers to test and trial the Company's microfibre filtration technology, XFiltra™.

The first agreement, with a major global household appliance manufacturer, headquartered in Asia, will incorporate XFiltra into their domestic washing machine platform for extensive testing ahead of field trials.

The second agreement, with a smaller, European-based manufacturer, will incorporate XFiltra into a domestic washing machine platform for consumer-facing field trials.

Under both agreements, testing and trials are planned to be completed by the end of Q1 2022.

Mark Nichols, Chief Executive of Xeros, said: "It's estimated that more than a quarter of a million tonnes of microfibres are currently ending up in the aquatic environment, each year, as a result of washing our clothes at home. Effective microfibre filtration in washing machines is a vital but simple step towards preventing this form of pollution, which is now to be found across the entire trophic range.

"We are delighted to be partnering with two domestic washing machine manufacturers who share a common concern for the environment, our passion for helping consumers 'wear better TM' and reducing the impact of microfibre pollution on the planet."

Still early days but what a turnaround. The recurring revenue streams and new business model have given this great tech' a shot in the arm. Congratulations to all who have instigated and managed/accepted this change process - never an easy thing to do. Collaborative working - it's the future, or was that garlic bread???

Now this is the news I wanted to hear. Excellent move XSG, now press home that advantage and commercialise this technology as soon as possible.
