For the shorters it like being on thin ice in the middle of a lake do they a) stay where they are until the ice melts - arggg b) make a dash for it (one might survive but the rest sure as h-ll will drown c) or hope against hope the weather changes and the ice refreezes. To me being a simple soul it’s the timing of this downgrade which is suspicious. Why would they release now when the RBL announcement is due soon. Either way all bets of off when the RNS is issued. Defies logic - unless of course god forbid they have an ulterior motive.

Hopefully when the MM’s see their ever growing limit sell order book they’ll stop and think WTF and maybe just maybe delve into the reason as to why. Who knows!

All being well this news should propel Brent past $58. Roll for similar or even better news fro the more robust EIA tomorrow at 3.30. GLA all LTH.

Hopefully another significant draw will be announced later (9.30pm) to help oil price maintain upwards momentum. Would love to see price north of $58. Perfect timing in light of the current RBL discussions.

Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news. I think the article refers to demand reaching 100bpd by August. They quote $65 a barrel later in year. Wish it was a $100 darn it.
