10 November 2020 - Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) is pleased to announce that the sale of its assets in Uganda to Total has completed with $500 million consideration received earlier today. Tullow is also due to receive a further $75 million when a Final Investment Decision is taken on the development project plus contingent payments linked to the oil price payable after production commences.

Canary I totally agree with you. In my view this share is only going upwards (daily price swings aside). Apart from the fact that the fundamentals are extremely positive in terms of the bigger picture history is on our side. Let’s be honest Covid has been a nightmare which has severely impacted the majority of businesses/shares. However the time to make the big bucks is not at the top of the curve but at the bottom (and we are there now). There is so much pent up demand due to covid in the next few years the worlds economy is going to boom. After cataclysmic events it always happens - without fail. I am not ramping just stating a fact. Many other investment opportunities are available but I want to be part of this one.
