I used to work for a media company and journalists are ten a penny. They are under pressure to meet print deadlines and fill column inches. Junior staff simply don’t have the time to do proper research and from their perspective why should they. Easier to go with the herd. Once the narrative changes to one of positivity they’ll all jump onboard. It will change and it’s coming.
