Yes this site has gone very silent since Luck diluted his holding. I do miss the regular contributions from both him and Kev. Looking forward to the next RNS from Eland which should hopefully be in the next couple of weeks. Have checked out Lekoil for comparisons and all things being equal (fingers crossed) Eland seems to be ticking along nicely.

By the way Elland if you bump into my Mrs in Tesco tell her the shares are still at 52. She likes to spend lol.

Think I have said this before but I bought a few shares May 16 around the 25p mark. When the value kept going up I invested (too much than I could afford) around 40. Aug 16 approx they hit 46 then they started going down. Bottled it and like a fool sold out. When they reached 66 oh shit came to mind. Reinvested at 57 so hopefully they will climb. Gonna be in this for the long term now. Daughter getting married next year so hopefully the gods of LUCK will shine on me. These daughters are bloody expensive.

On the face of it Nigeria is a commited member of OPEC. Despite the fact that their oil production is increasing due to historical militant action they have not been party to quota reductions. However going forward if it appears that peace and love reigns in the Delta perhaps OPEC would take a different view. I could be wrong but I believe that it probably suits their government to sit back and do as little as possible to quell speculation. Only a theory.

I am with you Elland. I am with this share for the long haul. Having checked out their website and read about their asset base I can only see good things in the future. O.k I am sure there will be some a--- clenching price falls along the way but the fundamentals are right. As we move forward despite the shale drillers it seems that there has been significant underinvestment in new and existing oil streams over the last couple of years or so due to the depressed oil price. The chickens will come home to roost on this soon.

Share trades diabolical no volume. Please please board at least some update on drilling progress. Probably I am naive, I am a simple person who clearly doesn't understand the reason for the lack of communication. Maybe there is a strategic reason, maybe not.

Just popped out to the local store for some milk and a paper something of a queue in there. The friendly Manager very content with how well their doing. Interesting to note that today's takings were higher than this morning's Eland trades. Unbelievable.

Can't see the Saudis letting the oil price slide much further. Next year's IPO of Aramco has to be successful and any major slide in the price of oil could seriously impact this. Even if they have do not have the full support of OPEC. There again I've been wrong before.

Frustrating guys. All we need is an update. Some sort of progress. I think the Rev sums it up very well. The lack feedback from Eland is a joke. Just don't get it. Hopefully very good at the oil business but totally shit at communication. Arrogant tw--s

Just don't understand it. During my career in Operations I worked at a senior level. Long term projects were part and parcel of my of my job. Regular progress updates were given to interested parties to reassure and keep them onboard. With Eland it's silence. Maybe the oil industry if different but surely the fundamentals of good communication apply across the board. Perhaps updates are given to the big players and to hell the the little guys. Never mind the payoff is coming.
