Thanks for your observations Kevin. Just looked for an apparently safer long term investment to spread the risk. I reckon the Hurricane price will continue to climb as they pass their milestones on the run up to production. I often dream about being a millionaire but in reality it's just not gonna happen lol. Once it reaches my target price I will more than likely bottle it an sell. Not brave enough as you are totally correct about the potential overun. B------ks the Eland share price is climbing again. Grr should I have held my nerve. Good luck everyone.

Thanks pijoe. The sky is the limit with Eland if the political situation in Nigeria gets sorted. A really well run company and big resources. Also find the contributers to this board are more gentlemanly. Apologies to any ladies out there.

Halved my holding and invested the freed up capital in Hurricane Energy. Still holding sticking with Eland but with Hurricane it's all about the geology. With Eland it's about the agitators. Probably regret it and hopefully I'll be back to top up. Good luck to us all.

Must have missed something have the agitators made new threats. Not thinking about selling. No 9 coming on stream mid February then 10.Then on to Aunt Betty from Oakham. Then Polobo. Sold out twice before then bought back in with diluted holdings - big regrets. With the Dr and long term holder Kevin.

Good point (see your logic) courtesy of the additional cash flow and with the drilling programme financed why have all the money sitting in a bank. If they don't go down the purchase route maybe a share buy back. Never mind theories abound.

Lots of sells but fortunately the price is holding steady. Hopefully we are at a base break out point now. Looking forward to the RNS covering Op 8 and 9. Good observations from Dr concerning production financials. Almost at the point where earnings are higher than the company valuation. Might buy it myself and move to Monte Carlo lol.

About 8 weeks ago I was seriously thinking about significantly increasing my modest holding in this share. Cruise ships, dividend and sentimental reasons. Geez I had the luckiest escape ever. Still keep watching and sure it will improve in the long term.

Things are looking up Mrs V is happy (quiet life for me). Share price has broken out of 69/70 range so can look forward to price rise around the 80 mark until it settles down again. Op 8 full delivery and 9 pending it will go higher. The fly in the ointment are the agitators but to be honest if I had a government like them I'd probably sign up. Hopefully with an election pending promises will be made and things will settle down. A great share good luck to all.

Although I did reach for the exit door once I quickly bought back in and it helps to know I am not alone on this rollercoaster. So far today trades non existent. Clearly the market is waiting for the OP 8 announcement. Can't take anything for granted with shares but wondering whether this is being held off due to the pending Christmas/New Year break. Maybe more beneficial to the share price when normal trading resumes in the new year. Only a guess. Eland probably sending this out as I speak lol.

That would be my guess as well Elland. If not Monday we are probably talking January now with Christmas/New Year almost here. Fingers crossed it's a good early Christmas present and an 80p bid price imminent.

Yes hopefully news is imminent. Lots of trades shown in black suggest brokers/MM's are lining up for something. Fingers crossed.
