RE: Will Clinicians act contrary to NICE advice !?20 Aug 2024 16:20
Gloria,
Unsurprisingly you haven’t managed to post a clinician’s statements confirming an intent, (implied or otherwise),to use POC over LAB testing.
The statement you’re highlighting, is confirmation of what we already know from the NICE RNS , that being, some will/may now use POC when Lab testing is unavailable.
To this extent we agree so let’s move onto the bigger question.
Q. What’s the potential sales opportunity for GD ?
Well, we don’t know !
Why? because the company has chosen not to offer any information on potential sales forecast.
Ironically, this fact In itself offers insight as to the potential sales opportunity.
Consider the company is obligated to advise of
any news with potential or actual material impact.
Anticipating new POC test sales of a magnitude for material impact would require market notification of the same.
With no such notification we can conclude new sales of this particular POC product are not anticipated to be material, within the near term.
You have already suggested you’re not particularly optimistic for significant sales of GD POC within the UK, on this point we further agree.
I do expect some further POC test sales but insufficient to address the cash-burn rate.
My conclusions based on objective reasoning and not assumptions as yours.
